Hahahaha.
I honestly can't help to like the guy. He doesn't try to be anybody else. He just does his own thing.
I'm sure somewhere down the line his career may crash and burn very suddenly. But for now it's fun to root for him.
What a finish that game was.

It's hard for me to hate him, he's such an underdog. He seems to be pretty humble as well.
I root for him just because so many people counted him out, and yeah his passing does suck.

I have nothing against Tebow, but the way ESPN treats his wins (it's 100% Tebow talk 100% of the time) is kinda retarded and ass backwards.
He completed 2 passes last week. This week? 95 yards passing, something like 140-150 combined. The Broncs offense had freaking 10 points. 10 fucking points. They won because their defense held the Jets to 13 points. The D also scored as many touchdowns (1) as Tebow and the offense did all game (1).
If anything they win in spite of him; not because of him.

Broncos also have one of the nastiest offensive lines in the league.
But O-line never gets any attention. Despite the fact that they determine the outcome of almost every single offensive play.
Chris Kuper is an absolute beast.

Fucking hell, does the Sanchise suck this year. Who doesn't want to see Rexxy sucking his toe thumb in tears come December? I know I would love it.
Somebody should remind Revis that tackling is part of the requirement for his position. He looked like he wanted no part of tackling Tebow.

Heh, Sanchez just debilitates what would be a solid contender team if they just had an above-average league QB on their team.
They need to trade for a decent free agent QB. I'd rather take Jason Campbell if he's available, woulda gone after Carson Palmer when he was available.

Take it easy. The Jets o-line has taken a major step backwards with Hunter replacing Woody. The team's administrators tried to sell Hunter to the fan base but it is now pretty obvious that he shouldn't be a starter. On top of this, in the Denver game Shon Greene going down was a major loss in pass protection. Have you seen the shots Sanchez has taken this year? Between Mangold being out for two weeks early on and the other problems with pass protection, it is no wonder Sanchez has struggled.
Remember it's only his third year in the league and he already has more road playoff wins than anybody who has ever played the position. I admit this year he has struggled and looked skittish but who wouldn't?

By the third year you'd expect a player to begin to get better. The Sanchez of this season isn't much better than of the last two seasons.
I don't credit him with those road playoff wins as much as I credit the Jet's D stepping up late in games against strong offenses.
I mean yeah Sanchez occasionally has good games. But for about 2 out of every 3 games, he struggles to get any production at all, and just throws innaccurate passes consistently.
Keller, Burress, and Holmes, you can easily make an arguement that they're one of the most talented recieving tandems in the league. Burress really doesn't look that bad, look at the way he outstretched on that 16 yard reception against the sidelines when Sanchez grossly overthrew him.
You have to really question a QB's throwing accuracy when the guy is consistently overthrowing 6'5" receivers.
There are 3 rookie QBs this year who throw more accurately and consistently than Sanchez has even into his third year.
If you took Sanchez out of the Jets and replaced him with a halfway decent passer, the team would be much better off. Trust me, I sat threw 4 agonizing years of Kordell Stewart leading a team that possessed one of the top rated defenses in the league, along with a strong recieving tandem and running game. Yet he held them back tremendously with his suckage.
Sanchez is doing alot of the same things.

I like how you completely disregarded the fact that the offensive line has been horrible. I admit his accuracy is not getting better, and he probably needs to work on his motion a little to get that corrected, but the number one thing he is lacking is time. Bellicheck went after Hunter like the weak link he is and Denver followed suit. But I guess you were too busy laughing at an errant throw as Sanchez took helmet in the back after helmet in the back for 9 weeks.
People say the offensive line is the most important part of any offense and then completely disregard it and blame a quarterback who had bright red dirt on the back of his jersey for 3 and 3/4 quarters.

It's not just when he's getting blitzed that Sanchez is making poor decisions.
He locks onto his first read too often. When he completed to Burress, he targeted him another 4 straight times. He has about zero ability to pull off second-options. Even when his first option is in double coverage, or a DB is about to break his reciever's rout, he STILLs throws at his first option.
Like the incompletion at 1:40 in the 3rd quarter. Firstly, Sanchez gets protected VERY WELL against the blitz. He gets a good 2 full seconds before any rusher gets near him.
Yet he does the stupidest thing. Locks onto his one first read in Santonio, doesn't even move his eyes away to look at other routes, and despite Santonio being double covered and really not open at all, he STILL passes at him.
Whether or not his O line is doing well or poorly, you can't put that as the primary and sole excuse for how often Sanchez makes poor decisions. Even in plays when he HAS good protection, he still does tons of stupid shit, like overthrowig Burress, overthrowing Keller in the end zone, or squeezing a ball into double and tripple coverage.

Does it remind you of anyone?
BOOM!

Jesus Fucking Christ.
That right. Jesus gave all of his football power to 1 Man.
Tim Tebow

And how good is this man? Ha! Imagine looking up at the scoreboard and seeing this

That's right. Not only has Jesus given this man the POWER to win, but he will humiliate you by keeping the game SO CLOSE, that you can almost taste the victory

So I ask the NFL fans. Why even continue the game when your up against THE CHOSEN ONE!

LS, it's true that there isn't an arm in his face (or helmet in his back) on every play but what happens to ANY auarterback in a situation where he doesn't trust his line to protect him is what is happening to him. You act like before the ball is snapped to him he is supposed to know "Okay on this play, I'm actually going to have enough time to make a read". Nobody knows that but what you do is tend toward your experience. There have only been two games this year in which Sanchez's line gave him consistent protection.
I'm done talking to you though because you actually believe that the quaterback is more accountable than the offensive line for success and failure which is a gross misjudgment.

No, I've said many times the O line is by far the most important position on an offense.
But in this specific situation with the Jets, their QB has been the biggest burden on the team.
The difference is, you can have a weak player or two on an O line and still perform well enough as a unit.
But with individual players, if your QB sucks, it fucks up the whole team, including the defense.
You don't have to get pissy just because my opinion is different than yours.

Not to mention Denver's O-line having to completely switch styles in a matter of 3 or so games. Pretty damn good.
Also another big piece of the Denver getting back to some level of respectability is VON MILLER.

Not only switching styles, but having faith that the new style, which everybody that is anybody has said cannot work in the NFL (including Elway), on top of everybody saying your QB sucks. It would have been much easier to listen to the haters, let Tebow take the blame, collect a paycheck, and look forward to next season.

I'm not pissy because your opinion is different. I'm pissy because your opinion is retarded.
Your comments about the offensive line being most important to an offense come across as nothing more than obligatory lip service when you make comments about how a "halfway decent" quarterback would be winning more games than Sanchez this season. The offensive line has been woeful, period. You take any other quarterback besides maybe Big Ben and you would have the same result.
The problem with Sanchez's "decision making" and "accuracy" stem primarily from the fact that he doesn't trust his line. This is making him skittish and as a result you are seeing what looks like bad quarterbacking. The reason he doesn't trust his line is because his line has consistently failed to protect him. Do you remember the Jets first offensive play of the season?
Sanchez has taken probably an average of two shots like that almost every game. His line has gone from being great in his rookie year to very good last year to outright lousy this year.
And an offensive line can still be good as a unit with one or two guys who are not good? Really? Have you ever heard the expression "A chain is only as good as its weakest link?" Case in point this season is the Jets line.
Ask Jim Plunkett about what difference an offensive line can make for a quarterback.

Problem is though, both last year and the previous year (when Sanchez had very quality O-line play in front of him), he was average AT BEST. Actually to be quite brutally honest, he sucked.
Look at his career numbers. 43 touchdowns and 43 interceptions for his career. A 72.9 career quarterback rating. Ugh. Those are Joey Harrington/David Carr numbers.

It's funny LS, you are arguing against me by using examples of how REPLACING a shitty offensive lineman with a capable one can drastically improve the performance of the line. "A chain is only as good as its weakest link." Say it a few times out loud and maybe you'll understand this concept.
These lines that you mention were all bad because they had a bad player at one of the positions. No offensive line is good if it has a bad player on it.
The Jets offensive line is bad. And all your talk about how much you value offensive line play is lip service if you blame a quarterback for a bad year when he has a bad line in front of him.

It's funny LS, you are arguing against me by using examples of how REPLACING a shitty offensive lineman with a capable one can drastically improve the performance of the line. "A chain is only as good as its weakest link." Say it a few times out loud and maybe you'll understand this concept.
No, you said how if an offensive line has a weak link, the whole unit fails. I was giving examples of how one single lineman being replaced or inserted can greatly change the outcome.
Alot of the guys who replaced these great linemen weren't horrible or a "weak link" in the chain. They simply weren't as good as the players who left.
Which goes back to my original arguement, which is that one or two very strong offensive linemen can be the reason that a whole unit is successfull.
YOUR arguement is that you can't have a single weak link, or else the whole unit fails. Which is fucking stupid. ALL the examples I provided are examples of how one strong offensive lineman can be seen as the main contributor to strong offensive lines. So obviously taking them away makes the whole unit seem bad.
Read through it again instead of just trying to twist everything in your mind to make yourself sound like you're right.

Damien Woody is a very good player, but your whole arguement how because ONE lineman got injured and replaced by a backup destroying the whole unit is just absurd. Especialy considering Wayner Hunter isn't that bad
You're talking about a Jets line that's been considered one of the best in the league over the past 3 seasons.
A unit that has two peaking linemen with multiple recent pro bowls. A unit that's had more starts together than any other active streak.
But oh, I guess it's because Damien Woody is gone, now that Ferguson and Mangold miraculously are the ones to blame for Sanchez's continued suckage.
Give it a rest.

Seriously?
Let's pretend for a minute you have half a brain. And somehow you have a job as a coach in the NFL. Now after looking at 30 seconds of game film it becomes obvious to you that Wayne Hunter is a piece of shit. So, you are coming up with the blitz packages to launch against the Jets on Sunday. You decide maybe it will be a good idea to expose the weakeness at right tackle. So you send your best pass rusher through the right side and kill Sanchez 2-3 times.
Does it matter that Mangold is a pro-bowl center then? Does the fact that Furgeson gets better every year help the fact that Hunter is being abused? No, of course not!
Let's take a look at one stat. Last year the Jets gave up 28 sacks in the regular season. This year, they gave up 26 and there is still six games left to go.
Now wipe the drool off your chin and think. How is it possible that a team is on pace to give up 10 more sacks than last year? I mean, the only difference on the line is that Wayne Hunter is playing right tackle. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Oh fucking stop and spit that cock out of your mouth. Sanchez just isn't good. Get over it. Do you think he's the only QB in the NFL with a subpar O-line? He isn't. But he's essentially at the bottom in all relevant metrics. Even measured against other QBs with shit O-lines. Did his protection cause him to call that retarded time out that gave Brady an extra 30 or 40 seconds to beat their ass?

Not only switching styles, but having faith that the new style, which everybody that is anybody has said cannot work in the NFL (including Elway), on top of everybody saying your QB sucks. It would have been much easier to listen to the haters, let Tebow take the blame, collect a paycheck, and look forward to next season.
Out of the blue.
I didn't even know you watched football.
I assumed you spent your island afternoons watching the natives attempt to flog a coconut with a taro root or some such.

Or maybe you failed to realize OTHER factors that have contributed to Sanchez's increased sack total?
You think it really all falls on that one substitution at RT?
What about the fact that the Jet's running game has completely faltered from last year? You don't think that plays a major roll in how often teams pass rush?
They went from 4th highest rushing offense to one of the worst.
Also how about the increased numbers of passing attempts Sanchez has made in losing games? Do you not pay attention to that?
I mean you can place the blame on the switch at RT all you want. It doesn't change the fact that Sanchez continuously makes the stupidest decisions game in and game out on a regular basis.
You still haven't even addressed the stupid shit he does against POOR pass rushing teams.
What's even MORE hilarious, is how you put all the glory and credit to Sanchez when he IS doing well.
I remember last year you specifically saying how "Sanchez outdueled Manning and Brady" during the playoffs after those wins.
As if the defense and run blocking had nothing to do with it.
And strangely...yet when Sanchez struggles this year, all I hear is you bitching and moaning that it's the Right Tackle's fault.
You do realize that Sanchez has almost never won a game from behind right?

This year: Dallas, San Diego Last year: Miami, Detroit, Denver, Houston, and in the playoffs against the Colts.

The running game is a lot worse this year. But that's got nothing to do with the offensive line either, eh? Is that Sanchez's fault too?
I admit Sanchez's decision-making has been bad at times. But this is not the #1 concern I have nor is it the reason the Jets are losing games.

and by the way, Sanchez is on pace to have 42 fewer pass attempts this year than last year.

If the quarterback is the player most responsible for the success of an offense, what does that say about the guys who are responsible for his protection?

Sanchez blows. Bottom line. His offensive line isn't the biggest reason he sucks. HE'S the reason he sucks.
The Jets have constantly had some of the best WR talents. Last year they had Santonio, Braylon, they still have Keller, and now they have Plaxico Burress.
Most QBs in the league would kill to have the kind of recieving talent Sanchez is graced with.
And as I pointed out before, Sanchez consistently overthrows Plaxico Burress. One of the most vertically oriented recievers in the league, and Sanchez still managest to consistently throw the ball 5 feet over his head.
His accuracy fucking sucks. It always has. But the guy still wins sometimes, which I give far more credit towards the defense for. The Jets have had one of the top D's in the league for a while now.

PT, you must be LOVING this shit.
It is alot of fun to watch. Every game is a nailbiting win by Tebow. Shit even I've been watching all the games and I'm not a Denver fan.
But seriously, that offensive line is playing BALLS OUT. Chris Kuper had another monster game. He better make the Pro Bowl this year.

Personally, my dislike of Tebow has little to do with football. I dislike someone trying to slam jam a bunch of Jesus juice down my throat every five minutes. When I turn on a sporting event I'm not there to hear a political speech or suffer through a religious sermon. This is not the proper forum for that. Keep that shit off the field.
This guy seems to think God is on "his side". Personally, I suspect God has bigger things to worry about than a football game. Also, don't pray that God is on "your side". If anything, pray that you are on God's side. God doesn't work for YOU, asshole.
If you're going to pray, do it in private as Jesus, you know..the inspiration for your religion?, instructed:
But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.
Matthew 6:6
Now. Having said that, the secret of Tebow's success is not his arm, or his good running ability. It's his leadership ability. He is a hell of a leader of men. His religious BS is probably inseparable from his leadership ability so we are probably stuck with that. It does get people talking about him so it's great from a marketing standpoint.

I really don't care about the Jesus stuff with Tebow. That doesn't bother me a bit. It's the fact that the media views him as a one man team. If they lose, it's 100% his fault. If he wins, it's 100% because of him and his "leadership and will to win". Ugh. The guy has 10 other guys that play with him on offense and another 11 on defense.

But that attitude is part of the Messianic role the public wants for him, and something he hasn't exactly discouraged. He is going to lead them to the promised land and all. There's a lot of white bread Christians in Colorado who want that white knight on the horse slaying evil for Jesus. And they love to black and white people there it seems. The same phenomena that may have driven Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold to kill all those folks in Columbine back in the day.
Tebow fits the ideal for a lot of white Christian's idea of perfection.

Come on fellas, you gotta hand it to Tebow for slaying the Chargers. We all know that the Chargers sold their souls to the devil in exchange for playing in a location with such great weather.

I have a dumb ass tard of a friend who worships the SEC, so therefore he strokes his cock to Tebow. His theory is that the nation wants Tebow to fail because he's "such a good person". Ummm, what? That's why people want him to fail?
And then he started texting everybody he knew after the Broncos beat the Jets and said that anybody who isn't inspired by Tebow is just a hater. And when I brought up Tebow's 96 yards passing he had in that game, and the fact that he led his offense to TEN fucking points, you know how he countered that?
"The Broncos are inspired by him...it's his will. His drive. He makes his teammates better because they want to play harder for him. They'll run through a brick wall for him!! It's not about stats!!"
Fucking ugh.

It's all cliches when it comes to fucking Tim Tebow.
And they won again today, and you know what ESPN's headline was?
TEBOW LEADS BRONCOS TO VICTORY
How about the fact that the defense held the motherfucking Chargers to 13 points?? The offense scored what, 16?!
Give me a motherfucking break, ESPN.

I mostly agree. I like Tebow because he's on the Broncos and I'm obviously a big fan of the Broncos. But I'm also 30 years old, and am a professional football game watcher, and I know this Tebow miracle is 80% the defense. Tebow may inspire or whatever the hell, but the D still has to play defense, and Tebow ain't playing defense.

Yes. This. Denver's defense has been fucking lights out. THAT'S the main reason the Broncos are streaking right now. Not because of Tebow.
I give a little credit to Tebow for driving the bus (as well as the timely first down scramble or three), but with an average to below average defense the Broncs probably would have lost 3 of the last 4 as opposed to winning all 4.
That defense is playing great but all ESPN and much of the rest of the country does is gloss over that fact and say "YAY TEBOW WON AGAIN!!! Score another one for him in the battle of good versus evil!!!"

Although I agree with you, I think you also have to give a bit more credit to Tebow/offense. The offense isn't giving up late in the game. Knowing that they can win close games, the defense is a lot more motivated to play hard. If the offense were unable to win close games, the defense would not be sacrificing their bodies to keep the games close.
Regarding ESPN, et al, they love to have something new to talk about. Unfortunately, the new gets rather old week after week after week... I can't wait for Tebow's next loss; not because I want him to lose, but because listening to the 'I told you so' haters will be a nice change of scenery.

I do realize you are talking out your ass. Off the top of my head, here are the games Sanchez has won from behind.
LS first I just want to apologize for all the emotion and anger toward you. As always iI am an ass.
But, I think you are wrong. My argument has sucked. The Jets offensive line has been shaky all year. It hasn't just been Hunter. Mangold missed two games and Moore was hurt early on as well. The main reason Sanchez has had a tough time is because of a lack of trust in the line and because he's taken a bunch of huge hits pretty much week in and week out. There is also a technique issue with Sanchez that he definitely needs to work on. These are the two main reasons he ha struggled.
These next five games will go a long way to making my mind up about the kid. If you count the playoffs he has won over 60 percent of his games.
Let's face if if Stafford was playing for the Jets, he'd have missed probably four games. Flacco? Probably the same record or worse. Ryan, same record or worse.

Flacco maybe. But Matt Ryan is clearly a better passer then Sanchez. That's one I have to disagree with. I think Matt is a more accurate passer and doesn't do as poorly in pressured situations.

Your Steelers are looking good LS but damnit i gotta pull the plug on the Jets even though i like the fuck outta Ryan and Sanchez
Every team has been teeing off on Sanchez and i agree with Seenor
ITS HARD TO COMPLETE A PASS WITH A HELMET STUCKIN YOUR RIBS
Enough about your teams, What do you guys think about the way TJ Yates looked when he came off the bench
We better get another QB uless Andre can play under center

But yeah, your Texans are fucked Paw, unless Schaub comes back somehow.

Yeah, the Jets offensive line played so bad. Allowing zero sacks.
And Sanchez manages to complete less than 200 yards on over 30 attempts. That's some real nice passing efficiency there.

What did Ben do today?
Young punk TJ Yates did pretty fucking good for a rookie today against a damn good Falcon defense, 12 for 25 188 yards and his first td pass
He also had a nice little 8 yard scamper that set up our last TD
kid did good today

Yeah I can agree with that. Excuse my previous sarcasm.
The O line is really a huge asset. Which is also credit to Tebow's success. Their O line is just damn good.
The Jets are still really talented. If they can stay healthy up front their running game will continue to succeed.
Shonn Greene seems to turn it on late in the season. Not a bad thing.

No, it's true. Check the schedule.

I've seen the schedule and I've seen the Jets. They're offense is from hunger. I expect Mario Williams to eat three Jet QBs before the half.

they are offense is from hunger? what the fuck does that mean?
Jets are going to be a good team this year. Tebow is a great player who got passed around unjustly by that shitty Denver team. Fuck Denver. I think Jets compete with pats for top seed.
it definitely wont come from the fins, and i doubt the bills either
