Casing question..please help

Whats up. I am somewhat experienced with growing mushrooms, I have had two extremely succesful grows following the PF tek. Currently I have 5 jars that are all about 90% done and I want to case because it would be something more exotic then the fruiting jars plus you get more from what i've read. So my question is, what casing tek would you suggest for my first time? I don't exactly want to use the most basic(50/50) cause I'll bet others work a lot better. Tell me what you think I should try. Peace.

I was looking at that casing tek earlier myself. I noticed that there aren't any measurements in the directions like how many inches each layer in the casing is supposed to be or how much water to use with the coir to make it expand. Are these important? If so does anyone here know the measurements since this is the tek I was wanting to do.
Thanks, peace -LM

I have found out the info I want for the general casing procedure, however can someone give me some ratios for a good casing mixture? I don't want to just use verm. on top.

Check the grow log using this tek: http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=Growlog&Number=1491446&Forum=Growlog&Words=pitdawg&Match=Entire%20Phrase&Searchpage=0&Limit=25&Old=allposts&Main=1490035&Search=true#Post1491446
I dont think there are exact measurements due to the variable casing containers that may be used. 60/40 applies to any size, and that is the best way to describe the method. If your speaking of inches, do a search on casing and you will find how much is needed to propergate super growth.

Would this be a good casing mixture: 50/50 peat moss and vermiculate?

yes ask for lime in the gardening sections. but you can save a little bit of hassle and use verm and coco coir-reptile bedding in pet stores-add water until you squeeze and it drips a little. verm and coco coir are the best mix to use, its airy, therefore colonizing quickly but also holds water well.
