Dylos laser particle counter, has anyone tried it?

Would this be accurate enough to test the air particle count in front of a flow hood? It is far more affordable than pro models. But would it be good enough to be useful?

Update, I did order this and it arrived promptly. yesterday I had it set up in front of my flow hood and watched the particle counter show the drop in both large and small particles after I entered and the incoming air was filtered. I have the flow hood in a very small space at the moment so this didn't take too long. For the price, I'm hoping that it will be able to give me enough accuracy to know when the flow hood has the air clean enough to work.

What is the difference in accuracy between this model and the multiple thousand dollar pro units?

a good question and I don't know. But with a flow hood how good is good enough? If after I enter and close up behind me and in 5 minutes the reading drops to 0 and stays there for 10 minutes , is that accurate enough? If I move around and some particles drop off my clothing, even freshly washed clothing taken from the dryer, put in a plastic bad and put on just before I enter the flow hood area is going to have some particles that can float about. If the reading goes up while I'm moving about but haven't opened anything sterile, I can stop and wait for a few minutes until the circulating air is filtered and the reading drops. The company states its small particle size is 0.5 microns and large is 2.5. For the price, this may be good enough to be useful for non pros.
