I just have to watch it. Seriously, I've seen the movie like 30+ times including 3 times in the theater. I've also read the book about 10 times.
WTF.

The book is incredible. If they would have made the movie just like it, it would have been rated R.
It's interesting how lots of the characters in the book are the exact opposite in the movie. The people that die in the book live in the movie and vice versa. Well most of them at least.

Hell yeah. I think I read the book when I was about 10. Chrichton did such a great job of making it so technical, yet easy to understand.

I've always been a fan. I have not read the book tho, but from what I hear I guess I should pick it up.

Hell, even The Lost World (the book) was great. The movie wasn't really too good though.
And JPIII sucked noodles.

really? lost world sucked balls in movie format. oh well, can't always judge a book by its Hollywood film adaptation.

Yeah, it was written by Michael Chrichton in the late 80's. Spielberg didn't turn it into a film into 1993.
The Lost World was written in 95 and turned into a movie in 97. It's not a bad movie, it's actually pretty enjoyable except for the ending. Not nearly as good as Jurassic Park though.

That it is. But you'd think that after seeing it so many times and almost knowing the whole movie line for line, I'd get sick of it.
I don't.

i just didn't like the fact that all the guns and like military stuff kinda... moved the flow on from fantasy to... some action movie, or something. it wasn't horrible. just not as good as JP 1, i think.
