Plantasia Mystery-No Effect???cept the farts

Well this past weekend I finally had the opportunity to try these beautiful PMs. They were dried and stored recently and properly.
I had read of happy vibes and
even pure "euphoria" . I started with about 1 1/2 grams..about -7-8 shrooms.
I always go slow when I'm not familiar with the substance in question. I chewed them up with malted milk balls... which so far is my all time favorite easy peasy way to eat. I ate more and more and more.. like about 16 shrooms.. and got nothing but a slight mellow feeling and gas city. Guess I will stick with my trusted Ecuadorians.. but hmmm not sure why
the effects were so minimal. Any comments out there??

Do you know the history of the fruit? Were they dry or fresh... if dry, how where they dried... did you or a friend grow them or from a dealer, when were they picked/harvested, how long ago did you last trip and on what...

Whenever I have had a trip go nowhere it was because of one of the following:

1) poorly dried fruit resulting in nothing
2) old fruit (picked after spores droped) resulting in almost nothing
3) tried eating shrooms after tripping hard yesterday resulting in nothing
4) poor shroom genetics resulting in almost nothing (only seen once personally)

NOPE, I GREW THEM, DRIED THEM OVER A HEPA AND
STORED IN GLASS JAR per usual.
2) old fruit (picked after spores droped) resulting in almost nothing-NOPE, PICKED IN TIME
3) tried eating shrooms after tripping hard yesterday resulting in nothing--HAVEN'T CONSUMED IN 5 MONTHS
4) poor shroom genetics resulting in almost nothing (only seen once personally)-- COULD BE... I HAVE ANOTHER BATCH FROM THE SAME SPORE SYRINGE JUST STARTING.. LET'S SEE.

Damn... got me then, im stumped.

Poor genetics is unlikely if you were using a multispore innoculation unless the entire spore race is of poor quality or you were only eating one fruitbody. I'd blame it on gremlins I think.

Nobody knows the answer to this question....
The exact same thing happend to me with Thai Lipa Yais.
Ate them fresh/dry...full grown/aborts....me/friends...????
No effects whatsoever....they looked real pretty too and it was my first bulk tek, so I ended up with around 5 ounces of completely bunk shrooms...it was frustrating!

hey jesse how many dry grams did you eat? that is no good at all.....did you eat them on a full stomach, this goes to the guy who posted this, eat some in a few days to see if it is kinda like when the first time you smoke bud as in you don't get high, poor genetics would be a horrible waste of time and effort, does anyone else have anything similar to this happen to them???

that is strange.. perhaps the only plausable reason would be that the spores you grew from were not p.c.'s ? i tripped quite nicely on ~2g of lipa yai - very nice body buzz, not so many visuals, but enough :-D

I dunno....they were still fun to grow though:)

The Plantasia Mystery Mystery.. I did them about 3hrs after a big
breakfast. Also.. the shrooms themselves looked like other pics I have seen of PM.. in that they were sorta bell shaped, with a prominant knob on the cap. They were colonized on rye grain, and cased with coir.
Here's something else... I just picked a shroom.. that was grown on a different substrate than those others that had no effect but was from the same syringe I made. This one just bruised blue. So rule out the "not a cubie".

I've tripped ballz on 1.5g of PMs before, and I've also got zero effects from LYs once.
Something to do with substrate and/or growing conditions?
Dunno.
But there's nothing wrong with PMs potencywise in my experience.

lipa yai did the same to me-  i ate about 10 grams! i even went as far as to email ralph thinkin they were busll shit spores-LOL
it was my first time and all-i did get something off them-i just didnt trip-my wife said that was all in my head though-she never trips and ate 5 grams and didnt get off-i never understodd it-they were very pretty shrooms-

WakingUpLate has experience with these i know-he just sent me some prints-im sure when he awakens today and sees this post he will have somehting to say :smile:
maybe thats the mystery behind them :smile:

it happened to me
my mushrooms didn't get me high i ate 2.5 grams nothing happened
it was thai the strain that mush mush developed i grew it on brown rice and vermiculte
it was my second time doing it and 2 friends did it also with me
