good sign?
    #1534546 - 05/09/03 12:08 PM (20 years, 9 months ago)

i'm starting to see fuzzy myc forming on my cakes... it's coming up on a bunch of spots all over, this is usual before pinning right? i'm pretty sure it's not contam because it still looks like myc and it doesn't smell foul.

anyways, assuming it's okay, how long do you suppose it'll be before i see pins?

I'm no expert, but if the myc is still growing after you have birthed then its not ready to fruit yet. the myc needs to stop growing to know that its time to fruit, which is when you'll see pins.

Again, im no expert. I could be totally wrong

my temp is around 75 and i'm not sure about the humidity because my hygrometer doesn't work apparently... it won't go higher then 60% really...there's condensation on the walls of my fruiting chamber but they aren't sweating...

try dropping ur temp to 70 and keep that humidity higher than that-go 90%!

condensation on the walls you are in the right ot high range.....pick up a hygrometer if you can otherwise use this as an indicator....
