ok im using this grow kit http://www.amazing-nature.com/mushroom.htm#growbox
anyone who has used this kit or kits like it i would really apreciate any tips you might have ive never grown before and i got to projects going a pf tek method and this grow box should come in the mail in a week or two

I dont personally like grow kits, and I feel like you wasted 50 dollars. If they are what they say they are, then I dont think you need much advise other than what they give you: "Add Water" :wink:  Im sure it will be fine, but i advise you to not stop reading this site, learn as much as possible, and maybe next time you can increase your yeilds, and lower your costs. Good luck.

yea when i get better at growing ill prolly start using the pf tek exclusively but i still live at home and all that and i have to hide it i wont get in troube so im not to worried but i dont want my shrooms takenyou know but any thanx for the info

don't be fooled by the 250-500 grams that it's telling you. mushrooms are 90+ percent water. when you dry them out @ 500 grams wet don't expect any more than 50 grams dry and realize that is the best case scenario.

also that thing is really small. but hell for 65 bux american i think it's worth it. i mean if you do it yourself youre looking at like 50 bux for materials (spores, terrarium, perlite, jars, substrate) an extra couple of bux at that point means nothing.

Just do yourself a favor and know what you are doing. Don't just do it for the mushrooms, learn all facets of the process and how to do it on your own. you'll find that it's a lot of fun and you'll feel a sense of accomplishment when you see your first pins grow knowing that you did it all by yourself.

or don't listen to me at all as i am just another idiot on this site thirsting for knowledge of the magic inside.
