Could I use these to build a flow hood/filter thinger?

I have quite a few Delta 120mm screamer fans, here's the specs for them:

Model Number: AFB1212VHE
Size: 120x120x38mm
Voltage: 12 V
Current: 0.60 A
RPM: 3200
Air Flow: 129.96 CFM
Air Pressure: 10.70 mm H2O
Noise: 48.0 dB-A

Could I use like 10 of these in a box with a HEPA filter to construct a makeshift blowhood? I could also strap in another 20 92mm fans, or however many I need to basically fit as many as I could in it.

Thanks everybody!

Those are fans for a pc case, there is no way they, even in aggregate, will push air through a hepa filter, or any kind of usefull filter other than a useless wire screen mesh.

You can stop those with your finger. The back pressure would simply cause them to spin and waste electricity. By having 10 of them in a box, you have so much open space there is no way to get enough static pressure built up.

They could be used mounted in a terrarium to circulate air perhaps... I'm sure you can find a use for them, just not for building a flow hood.

Last time I tried I busted a fingernail and bruised up my finger. I learned my lesson, it's been like 2 years since i've even gotten close to the bastards while they're on.

hmmm, what do you think I can do with them?

Fresh air exchange in a terrarium? Moving humidified air from a box with an ultrasonic in it? I dunno, experiment :-)
