What is the spore size on those Psathyrella?

Those Psathyrellas are pretty mushrooms but when I come across them in the woods, sometimes they resemble a psilocybe to me at first glance.Aggravating. The lions mane is cool looking. I didn't even know it was an edible until a few years ago.I still haven't tried any yet, although they're suppose to be tasty.

the green (bluing) on the annulus of those gymnopilus is fucking nuts. Beautiful pictures, thanks for sharing.

Alan-- i didn't check. you're thinking Psathyrella piluliformis? i noticed this affinity but wasn't positive. its likely the same as these I found a couple weeks ago

Man those Galerina have a significantly different colouration from what I find here in California. The general characteristics are the same, but the colour is different. I guess that's one of the reasons marginata, autumnalis and several others were IDd as separate species for so long.

I agree, it would be interesting to see how well the microscopy and dna matches

Yea the spores in that species are really small and gray.

First time i have ever seen pink capped Amanita species. I have heard of pinked capped Amanita species from Africa and Chile. I emailed Rod Tulloss - hopefully he will have a ID.

Those amanitas are sho' nuff pink.Cotton candy pink.
Amanita sinensis is pink looking. But it's supposedly rare and only found in India.
