Yes the statement is true. Steroids are prescribed to HIV and AIDs patients, as well as people with chronic wasting diseases. There are forms given to women after breast cancer, and the most compelling argument is the use by the VA for spinal cord injury patients and the increase in lung strength and capacity, namely the drug oxandrolone or anavar as it's known now. If used under control of a physician, as in my friend's case, they can help with GID and create more masculine features in women. They are naturally occurring hormones from cholesterol, and though the body regulates homeostasis, using it correctly and safely would be no worse (this is opinionated) than supplementing with protein or any other chemical. Now realistically it can warp your body, but that's huge bodybuilder doses. How do you think bodybuilders get theirs? It ain't no Mexican vet grade shit, it's pharm grade. They have doctors they pay cash money for scripts, cuz truly it's safer that way. Now.....to find a doc.....and money.

Also this is still in its infancy for me, so I'll post at the end of the year when results are in about how well it worked on my end lol. I've taken anavar before though, my buddy gave me a couple pills, and it was amazing. Very good feelings and energy like crazy. With this I feel like I need to be working out all the time cuz when I'm sedentary it's tough to get the blood flowing and shit. Gonna do some push ups right now! Lol

Var is amazing from anyone and everyone I've talked to thats tried it.  It will definitely be part of my next cycle, period.  Look into the UK's steroid laws.  There it is legal to posses and use but illegal to sell.  Also watch the documentary Bigger, Stronger, Faster if you haven't seen that yet.

my chest press day went as follows

Incline barbell press
225 x 10
245 x 10
275 x 6

Flat bench dumbell press
90lb x 10
100lb x 8
110lb  x 6

then while working some cable fly's my left elbow forced me to stop
I was and still am very pissed

110s hey? damn.. i do 95. are db presses just a helper to you? your bench is way above your db. I can do 110 db press im sure. obviously the other weight speaks for itself.

Why do you switch it?

Anavar isn't legal in the US, it was obtained from brother speed I guess lol. I only had like 10 caps but I felt it from the first one. There used to be a drug called like 1,5 androtostenione and I had only got 5g before it was banned, but you took 300mg and you were instantly hungry and ready to lift. Strength went through the roof after 2 pills.

As for research, check out Jose conseco's documentary and bigger faster strong, as well as Pumping Iron for an example of an era where they didn't know doses and took what everyone else said they had the best results with. Steroids were legal then too.

for me the dumbells are wayyy harder than the barbell
It forces you to use all your " stabilizer " muscles and I get an amazing feel to the inside of my chest instead of just the outer edges like with barbell

btw EP in regards to your statement I think "When used responsibly AAS have yet to be proven to posses any serious short term or long term risks" is a true statement.  Like you said there are few if any publicised studies on how harmless responsible use of AAS truly is.  Put the burden of proof on them.  The truth is often in plain sight yet hidden behind sensationalized media tripe.

HGH seems to have similar effects from what I have read about it... The internal organ thing is kind of a huge neg side effect though...

TBH, no offense to anyone but I don't think you should even think about taking steroids until you are at least 25 years old (your hormone system needs to be fully developed so you dont f*** yourself up 10 years down the road).  You should also have a few years of serious training/diet under the sleeves, and a good base to start from.  Everyone I know who has done it this way had way better results, because they are the types most likely more serious about training, diet, and all the other factors that go into juicing.

A lot of people mess themselves up with steroids. i've known a few.  Although it was likely from irresponsible use it can still happen. One guy started very early I think 18 or 19, ended up gaining like 15 or so pounds from a cycle and looked good for awhile, then after cycle.. a bad (or lack of) PCT he lost all his gains and developed serious gyno(male breasts).  This guy is now dead sadly, not from steroid use though.

I guess what i'm trying to say is if you want to do them please research all the effects, sure they can be good, but they can do equally as much harm to you if you don't know what you are doing.  I have one friend who competes in bodybuilding shows who has messed up liver levels from just one mild cycle of test, and he PCT'd did everything textbook.  He can also no longer compete in local shows in our area because they are natural and incorporate lie detector tests for anyone entering.  Please be safe. There is a lot to think about.

Also, many of the dudes we know in bodybuilding/hollywood/ etc who heavily used steroids throughout the 80's-today are now on TRT (testosterone replacement therapy)/ HRT (hormone replacement therapy) for the rest of their lives.  Once you start doing a lot of cycles your body's natural testosterone levels start to drop and can eventually shut down.  This is why you should be getting blood work tests done before and after cycle to see where your natural hormones stand.  Not everyone can recover with the same natural test levels they had pre-cycle, and the more you do the more it may be harder to recover.  Watch Flex Wheelers video on youtube to see an example of someone involved Olympia stage go through this.

Sorry for the long post.. I'd jut hate to see any fellow shroomerites get messed up because they read about the positives of steroids and just hopped on a cycle without any research. <3

This is why I don't think I would do anything more than relatively conservative cycles of Anavar.
