After the egg cartons are colonized I will fill them with Alder chips to get colonized. (the kind you use for a smoker)

I have been thinking about colonizing the woodchips in a clear cut (which is a couple of square miles of woodchips) that is only a couple of miles from my house. I would like to see flushes on a massive scale.

The nice part about the wood lovers is being able to expand so easy. between now and spring you should be able to get a few 5 gallon buckets full of spawn. I was reading different teks on preping the wood anything from soaking in bleach water to soaking in water over night and PC like WBS and even people just using straight cardboard no prep work at all. Some of them seem to even enjoy fighting with small amounts of bacteria to take over the sub. Some pretty gangster stains if you ask me.

I have heard that azurescens is way more aggressive than cyanescens, I can't even imagine. They grow so easy and are so strong that every shroom lover should be spreading these babies world wide.

I wouldn't say "dump". Once the jars were fully colonized I "placed" the grain spawn onto moistened egg carton and placed them into clean ziplock bag, making sure to leave the bag open too breath. Once the egg cartons are fully colonized I will add some clean alder chips.

Yes. This is how easy wood lovers are. The hard part is fruiting unless you live in the right climate.

Once you get some spawn going you can move them to a big rubbermaid by using a layer of cardboard spawn and a layer of wood shavings/chips. Just build it up like a layer cake. The spawn will move onto the wood chips.
