    #15303533 - 10/31/11 11:55 AM (12 years, 7 months ago)

How is this looking? It's been about 10 weeks, I've crumbled it twice.

Is there any way to salvage the myc on top? Its very white and fluffy. Looks healthy, a good number of inches away from the settled bact. at the bottom of the bag.

You might be able to get away w/ spooning the grains onto more grains for a G2G.
I wouldn't even do it though.
The entire bag looks covered in bacteria to me.

The bacteria is from too much water. It's over saturated. You can see in picture # 5.

Also, your update looks good. There's water pooling up in the bottom right hand quadrant of the picture though. Be careful with it, it may try to pin early.

Don't use alternative picture upload sites like "Imagebam" or "Pickhub". These sites are bound to delete things, move URLs around, go out of business, and so on. This is a problem because it makes archiving difficult. Someone viewing this thread in 2 years won't be able to see what's going on.

Actually not everyone was a noob.  Being a noob is a very new phenomenon.  Many people, the great majority in fact, were simply "beginners", "novices" or "new to mushroom growing".  Being a "noob" is reserved, and in fact created specifically for and by, the newer, much more lame generations coming about.

I used to not use ImageBam and never understood why other users would opt to post their pictures on it, but recently I've been unable to upload any new pictures on this site. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Perhaps I need to delete my current galleries in order to upload new ones? Not enough file size as a "standard" user?  Even when attempting to upload pics one at a time, I'm given a message that my file size is too large (that's what she said :omgawesome:). I've been using the same camera and the same computer to upload pics since I began my mycological pursuits and do not understand why I am just recently unable to easily upload pictures to my account.

I'll keep an eye on the puddling and moisture build up. I'm not misting it currently and am only fanning as I've read casings do just fine with the moisture contained within themselves. Its inside a SGFC, perlite and all. It's been in fruiting a mere 17hrs.
