Do you cover those holes during colonization? if so with what? tape or pollyfill etc? or do you drill them out after? I think drilling huge holes then stuffing them shut with pollyfil is just a waste, I like what your doing there.

I just wish I had an isolate... But, no worries... Incidentally; I took a scraping from the inner tissue of a cap this morning and put it onto some agar...

Glad i have a print of this variety. Have to wait awhile before nature can do its thing but love the results.

Thanks, JD; and thank you to everyone else for your joyful comments
Have two full size tubs to fruit out... Then there will be a delay... Still of the same batch, just delayed... As I ran out of space So I'll prep up a tub or two from some of these colonized grain jars this week... Then another tub or two next week... Still have about 32 quart jars left of HillBilly... Though; I honestly believe six of those are not from the original pint jar... Six quarts of Tasmanian, as well

Well multispore certainly doesn't come in all at once... Here's a photo of about 2/3rds of the tub... The rest is still very premature:

i too had similar results with the hillbilly strain. I did one extra large casing and one small casing, both full canopies just like ur pics. I think this strain is a good producer

This will be the last tub for a couple of weeks, as I haven't spawned the remaining jars to bulk as of yet... This one came in spotty and will a LOT of siamese mutants:

I'll be sure to update with the rest of the tubs in the future

Had a couple second flushes... Seems as I only took a photo of the first one, before I had put my gloves on

Another "second flush tub" just before harvest and then making its journey to the compost bin:

BTW; despite the 40degF nights and 50degF days, being crumbled up and covered in chicken manure, kitchen scraps, dirt, etc; I've had fruits popping up in the compost, lol.

I just worked up a large tub this evening... Changing the ratio around a bit for this and the rest of the HB bulk: going with 2:1, coir : verm and ~2% AZOMITE

Second flush (partial harvest) of the last two tubs that I had spawned. Will harvest the rest tomorrow morning; then recycle to the compost:
