Death is the ultimate climax in our life?
    #1529879 - 05/08/03 05:10 AM (14 years, 4 months ago)

Our whole lives build up to it. Everytime we get near it we feel an even great rush of life. I think death is just pure life. Thats why we love it, and we hate it becuase we live it. Make any sense?

im openly awaiting death at this moment..., all this life really is all together is our memories flashing before our eyes because we are actually all dead and just watching memories

Death is the ultimate climax in our life? I don't think so, but then I've had some very wonderful sex in my life. I would rather take a tantric sex type approach to the 'climax of death.'

To call humans 'rational beings' does injustice to the term, 'rational.'  Humans are capable of rational thought, but it is not their essence.  Humans are animals, beasts with complex brains.  Humans, more often than not, utilize their cerebrum to rationalize what their primal instincts, their preconceived notions, and their emotional desires have presented as goals - humans are rationalizing beings.

i can't wait for death, the moment my ego dies and *i* become part of everything and nothing at once, will be a great time. i hope to feel death the entire way, and NOT die in my sleep or anyway i won't be conscious.

I would say we are "ripe" at around age 16-30 although people vary. But other than that I dont think there is really an answer to this question.

I rather prefer the view of death expressed in the following poem;

HOLY SONNETS.
X.
Death, be not proud, though some have called thee
Mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so ;
For those, whom thou think'st thou dost overthrow,
Die not, poor Death, nor yet canst thou kill me.
From rest and sleep, which but thy picture[s] be,
Much pleasure, then from thee much more must flow,
And soonest our best men with thee do go,
Rest of their bones, and soul's delivery.
Thou'rt slave to Fate, chance, kings, and desperate men,
And dost with poison, war, and sickness dwell,
And poppy, or charms can make us sleep as well,
And better than thy stroke ; ?why swell'st thou then ?
One short sleep past, we wake eternally,
And Death shall be no more ; ?Death, thou shalt die. - Donne

Id say that birth is the climax of our lives, after that life is the denoument(sp?).  Death would be the conclusion to the story, AND the intro to the sequal :smile: Then it all happens over and over. How many sequals (or lives) have you written? hundreds? thousands?  one?

I'd say birth is the beginning of our lives (basically...) and that death is indeed the climax of our human experience, but as for what types of deconstruction our consciousness experiences, if any at all, who knows

Insert an "I think" mentally in front of eveything I say that seems sketchy, because I certainly don't KNOW much. Also; feel free to yell at me.

Its weird how we talk about our own experiences in such a vague clouded muddled way. its like lookin at a cup and saying "i think this cup is a cup" life is a conscious energy, its like were reporters from the ultimate source and were on a mission to find facts in our world, to watch from beginning to end without thought. So you find that 'ego death' in life and you dont get caught up in any duality.. like I am ME and YOU are YOU. there are no separations. Energy flows INDISCRIMINATELY and were all connected.. arm, leg, oxygen, wind, eye contact.. basically 'you' dont have to die to die since the self is a transparent fiction anyway;)
