zero tolerance

"We have a zero tolerance policy on comments about moderator action in either threads or posts"

- Mr Mushrooms

wow, thats a very bizarre policy. It seems like a spirituality and philosophy discussion forum would be an unlikely venue for such a controlling, omnipitent atmosphere.

but maybe this policy is justified, maybe not. It seems like there is a conflict of interest involved here. what does everyone think?

Without making any sort of attack on your person, atomikfunksoldier, nor making it seem like ass-kissing, for that matter, I'd like to say that this seems to be getting a little out of hand.

You can't always agree with a judgement call especially if it is against you.

Generally speaking, no one would have to "police" anyone, if everyone respected the rules of a fair fight !

Arguments can be very exciting !

THere is no need for strikes below the belt.

Agreed?

the beginning of an unending amount of threads that will be locked and everytime they mention how the ones in power take things a little too far

to not be able to discuss something on a discussion forum and try to get constructive ideas out and heard kinda defeats its soul purpose

locking a thread wont lock people's minds, if theres a lock on a safe then you know something important lies in there and you want to think about it more or get at it more

deimiyan without rules it wouldnt work ofcourse, but without discussion about the rules then what do you have?

there is no reason to lock threads. let the emotion spill out and the problems will be resolved between the two parties involved. WE ARE NOT CHILDREN, PLEASE DON'T TREAT US AS SUCH. when the differences are worked out, respect will surface and the problem will be conquered. this silly "be nice" policy only stifles our emotion and blocks the natural discourse of debate, i believe we can all learn by working out the problem in a natural way, uninhibited by a "policy" that ends in bad blood. please respect the people that post, STAY AWAY moderators, for our sake, and the integrity of this place.

Bizzare or not it is the policy and not open to discussion in this forum.

This thread is closed and since you read and commented in the other thread you have received a first warning.  The next time you violate a policy in here you will recieve a temporary ban.

Sorry d00d. :frown:

Thread closed.
