Invitro cake spawn Question
    #1527181 - 05/07/03 12:12 PM (13 years, 5 months ago)

Hey all,

Wow, it's been a really long time since I last posted, guess that's what happens when you pack away the bong and get serious about classes.. anyway, finals are wrapping up so I've got a moment and a question.  Consider this scenario:

24 invitro pints, harvested.  Quite well at that
Unfortunately most of the cakes crumbled while harvesting.  I was considering trying the mushroom liqueur tek with some of the crumbled cakes (since they should be active now that they've fruited), but I was wondering.. is there any way to use the crumbled cakes to spawn more jars?  Kind of like a grain to grain transfer, only a "chunky brf/myc" to "brf/verm jar" transfer?

Before the flames or suggestions come in, the reason for the massive invitro grow is, of course, the stealth required in a college dorm.  So no, I can't do casings, and I can't grow outside (city setting).

But if I could use the spent cake bits to make more jars that'd be great!  Lemme know..
Thanks much!  Hopefully I'll be posting around here more often this summer.

I was wondering, couldnt you mix a colonized cake in a blender with some water and spawn some more BRF& Verm 1/2 pts?

Be in truth and watch the magic happen.
