Incubator + Fruiting Chamber problems

i want to use a rubbermaid to incubate jars in. i want to then spawn that onto straw, in the same rubbermaid as used for incubation. but with a tin foil pan inside this rubbermaid to actually grow from (rubbermaid used for temp and humidity control). ive heard theres problems with incubating and fruiting in the same chamber is this true, even if you cleaned it out after incubating?

No, the only problem is the logistical one, namely you can only do one thing in the bin, either incubate or fruit.

Just dont incubate and fruit at the same time and clean it out before you put that straw in there. Maybe just nuke it for a few minutes.

The problem is that, unless you built near air-tight partitions (insulated would be a plus too) into the rubbermaid, it would be impossible, by my reasoning, to have optimal conditions for both fruiting and colonization.

It's easier, IME, to get by w/o an incubator than w/o a terrarium, so my recommendation is just to use that rubmaid to fruit, but that's just my experience.
