aquarium heater for humidification?

coudl i use an aqaurium heater in my terrerium as a humidification divice instead of perlite? i don't really want to use perlite though i still have some from my cakes.

aquarium heater won't do the trick man sorry . why you so against perlite? it works well for alot of people on the boards. if you don't like it u can use geolite (i think thats the correct term) it's like grow medium for hydro based stuff and i heard it holds humidity pretty well and is whats included in the automatic setup that looks like a bubble( forgot this term it's been a while.).

i think what you're talking about is the HydraPod(?). anywayz, i don't know if i should use it with the casings im gonna make cause i don't want too much humidity.

yup thats it(hydrapod). yeah casings is a little diff cuz at primordia formation they need a lil less humidity since they are getting it from the casing layer. but i've seen it done in the grow logs before. actually seen someone's post that had a casing in a tub with water and a bubbler unnder h2o bubbling below the casing tub that provided air exchange and humidity. dont know the measurments or anything or the post. try searching around cuz growlogs is the greatest resourcee
