I haven't seen hardly any pessimists here. WTF are you talking about?

Maybe you are confusing them with with anyone who doesn't agree with you?

In my experience, the majority of people suffer most of the time.  And there is lots of unspeakably awful experience going on right now in the world, and the overall negativity outweighs the positives.  If this attitude makes me a pessimist, so be it.  My experience has naturally led me to this perspective, I surely haven't tried to force myself to hate this life.

at the crucial moments I’ll recover
my spirit as was before: ascetic.”

As Dr. Amit Goswami preaches: you must be, then take that being and do with it, then take those doings and be with them. You must do, then be, then do, then be, then do, be, do, be, do, be, do, be, do be do be do be do be "dobedobedobedobedobedobedobedobedobedobedo".

Highly subjective imo (hehe). Not that that's a bad thing but one man's pessimism can be another man's paradise...it's just a duality anyway, maybe people can be more positive, but in general it's not like it's a solid outlying view on the world (pessimism vs optimism), it's just people speaking from their experiences... for instance compare two people, one who is experienced with psychedelics or is working on integrating the experiences, the other who is currently having the "honeymoon" period on them where everything is magic. The honeymooner would see the experienced user as a pessimist or as being overly negative if they were denying the benefits or experiences of psychedelics. You can see it all the time here.

I feel I've got it right for me, in my time, in my living environment.

How else could you possibly, ever, have it any other way? "Right" implies standards or a "ceiling", of course you can always/usually be improving quality of life, but in essence, you've always had it right for the time and place. Even if you tried to have it wrong, it would still be right, because you made it wrong in the first place. If you didn't try anything, and things felt wrong, that would be because you disagreed with what was and not necessarily a "wrong" thing in the first place. Thoughts? I'm not sure what I'm getting at, but it seems like a subtle feeling behind the scenes that's always there...awareness and acceptance of what is, perhaps? Hmm.

Like...did the salmon swimming upstream that got eaten by the bear have it wrong for that time and place? Did the bear have it right? Or was it a result of a continual process, and things just happened to emerge from the flux in that particular manner? Looking at the big picture it's all good, always...overall everything just amounts to momentary blips in the dance of the life force anyway, with meaning and morality ascribed and projected onto it, by humanity (the life force itself). Energy finding meaning and reason in energy, becoming self aware, becoming aware of self-awareness....now I'm just rambling

Why not just, "Don't make assumptions about life."?

Just because you've lived a little doesn't mean you should embrace delusion.
