I pretty much did the same but it wasn't a sponsor. I wish i did use a sponsor becuase 1/3 didn't colonize but thats besides the point. I went by the looks of the pics they displayed and did little research on strain(Noob) but 2 i did pick was South African Transkie and Guadalahara. They both rocked as far as potency and easy growing. really happy with them but after doing some research I found out that the pics i was looking at to pick my strains were false and i pretty much just spun around and pointed. The reason i know they were false is other sponsored sites had the same pics posted for diffrent strains.

You might want to check this out if you havent already. I believe everything is the same as cubes except they need manure and a casing.

I think I'm gonna start an Orissa India grow... (re-)start with agar work and better procedure. Idk not going to shoot for an iso, just a good clean rhizo transferred to either a half pint of grains or maybe even a baby food jar. I figure the quicker a jar colonized, the quicker a GLC can be made, so the small size of a baby food jar should get me going quickly
I might actually do HillBilly, but I'm going to save my PE print because I don't want to get bad genetics for this grow.

The R44 has agressive rhizomorphic mycelium and fruits quickly. I grew it pf tek style ms. Before the caps open up, the tops look like dark brown bread rolls. I only got 1 flush from it, and not all cakes fruited but the ones that did did so BEAUTIFULLY. Take a look at my grow log, just search for it.
The trip is very clear headed and very visual but a different type of visual. It didn't give me a mind fuck like how the b+ did.
Can anyone tell me anything about brazil vs. ecuadors please, in general, in terms of the type of trip each gives?

Both are from the same region and both will cause you to have a psychedelic trip if you eat enough of them. Both are cubes and are usually as potent as cubes tend to be.

I'm looking for some experienced advice. I research my questions well with several books and websites before asking here, so as not to take up other people's time unless i really need it.. I am getting ready to try growing pan cyanescens, but everywhere i look, I get different info. Some say they must be grown on wood, outdoors in 40 degree weather, others say they are happy on dung, grown in typical indoor conditions. These spoors originate from Florida, so I find it hard to believe they will only grow in 40 degree conditions. I was hoping that someone with pan cyans would be willing to share some wisdom wth me. I would really appreciate it. Thank you

No wood for pan cyan.. Wood and cold weather are for PSILOCYBE CYANS. PAN CYAN'S are the warm weathered, dung-loving specie.

They are usually refereed to as either pans or cyans. Pans are the dung loving, and can be grown in doors. I don't think there's ever been a decent indoor cyan cultivation.

No. This is incorrect, sorry.
Pan. Cyan. (what they're usually referred to as) is the ABBREVIATION for panaeolus cyanescens, the warm weather, dung-loving mushroom specie. There is ALSO a psilocybe specie of cyanescens known as Psilocybe Cyanescens or, Ps. Cyans. (the abbreviation), the cold weathered, wood-loving specie of mushroom. Not one specie referred to as Pans. and the other referred to as Cyans.
If you want a real treat, grow Psilocybe Cyanofriscosas over Ps. Azures. or Cyans.

Twisted Coast cubies are extremely slow colonizers.
I have jars sitting at 24C/75F for 10 days now and only small specks of mycelium have appeared. Usually my jars take around 2-3 weeks at tops to be fully colonized.

BHT was my first strain. I've had quiet a mix with luck. I've had huge thick fatties that averages 30g each, and I've had short midgets that gave horrible yields (room temp averaged about 50 tho).

Like many cubes, they have potential depending on the conditions you grow them in.
