as a first grow a friend ordered 11 mycobags and has them inncubating at about 80 deg in a deep rubbermaid container, once colonized i was goin to cut a hole in the lid and replace with a pc of plexiglass and lower the temp, anyone have a better solution for fruiting or better yet some pics of bags fruiting

yes, my friend suggests removing the colonized substrate from the bag and casing it. although he has not yet done a casing with bags, he recommends it. he has, however, always removed the "cake" from the bag after it is colonized and allows it to fruit in a bucket covered with saran wrap. this way he can monitor the ambience (humidity/temp) and it also allows the mushrooms to fruit in all directions without getting smashed between the bag and substrate. simply by removing it from the bag, he has managed to harvest 20g dry off one cake - there are still more coming he says. optimally, each bag would yield an ounce. peace
