Third flush casing crumbled and spawned to coir

Hey guys! I recently harvested my first grow, and enjoyed the hell out of it. I never would have been able to do this without the help of this website and all of the great people who use it. Now that I have a bit of experience under my belt, I'd like to become more active on the forums.
My first grow was a simple one. I thought about using the pf-tek, but I didn't have the means to make jars in my house. For this reason, I ordered a two pound rye grain mycobag. For some time, this bag did stall, but eventually I broke it up and it finished colonized rather quickly. I cased the rye grain with the typical 50/50 peat/verm mix. This was my first flush:

It's nothing amazingly impressive, but I was very happy with it. Three of my friends and I ate them all and enjoyed the hell out of it.
My second flush was quite unimpressive, unfortunately, but this was just because I did not dunk the casing. For this reason I decided to spawn my casing to coir, after a nice long dunk. I normally wouldn't have taken the time to do this, but I just prepared two monotubs anyways and had some extra coir. I was just curious, as I have not been able to find much of anything about this being done. Will the mycelium be strong enough to re-colonize the coir and fruit? This was done a few days ago, and does seem to be colonizing well; I'm just not entirely confident. I would like to hear your opinions.
I will keep this updated with pictures of this and of my two monotubs if you guys are interested. Thanks!

Well if you've already done it, you'll just have to wait and see. I'm not sure how well it will fruit but hopefully you'll get some more mushies out of it.
For your future grow, don't case straight grains. Spawn to coir and you'll see a lot better results

If you had used a proper shotgun fruiting chamber, with 1/4" holes every 2 inches on all sides with 4" of perlite in the bottom, I think your flush would have been much nicer. Otherwise nice grow
How many holes are in that tub?

Haha I don't plan on casing grains anymore! I'm extremely excited to see how my monotubs work out, the sub is about 4" with something close to a 1:3 or 1:4 spawn ratio. I'm not exactly sure what the ratio was, however.
Thatguy, I knew someone would notice, and for that reason i was hesitant to upload that picture. Unfortunately, I couldn't find perlite in the area at the time, and I HAD to put the tray into fruiting conditions. There are 4 holes that are about 1 inch in diameter, I was trying to go for kind of a mono hybrid, and it worked surprisingly well. Looking back, I wouldn't do this again, though.

A SGFC would have been better ... but as long as you maintain proper humidity and FAE anything will work honestly.
Looking forward to your progress on your next grow man
