So I've been growing for a total of 2 years now. Always getting wonderful results and never had a problem like this before. For some damn reason almost all the jars I inoc. gets infected. Well actually every jar. I bought a new pressure cooker and tested it. I did 8 jars in two pressure cooker. 4 infected. I'm not sure which for, all from the old pressure cooker, or not. Has anyone had this happen to them? I use microspore tape. It's very hard to get all off. Tape is always left on the jar lid. Old tape. I figure it does not matter because then I pressure cook it for an hour and it's fine. However I might be wrong. The jar lids are a little rustty as well. But I hear it's not a problem. The pressure cooker does still look the same, makes the same noises, ect. My sterile tech has not gone down that I can notice. But still infection infection infection. Please guys help. I'm now about two months behind because of this.
It's mostly cobweb and sometimes a black mold.
Also it I've make ALOT of jars with g2g and not much with spores. Would it have anything to do With the genetics?

Are you getting contaminated jars from the PC that have never been opened? Or only ones that you have opened?
I would suspect the environment, and your technique. If you are dead sure you are being very sterile and your technique hasn't gotten sloppy, then you need to clean house. You may have had a few early infections that just bombed your area with a massive load of contaminants.
Rent a carpet cleaner, wipe down EVERY surface everywhere with bleach wipes, then spray every surface with lysol. Wash everything you own. Dust every nook and cranny. Shampoo the carpets or bleach the tile or whatever you have. Then do all of that a second time. It can be difficult to fully clean an area that has become contam dirty. If you have a ventilation system, heating/air, have the ducts cleaned. Etc.
Otherwise, check your technique. Get yourself some sterilization indicator strips and put one in a jar on top of your grain, and PC it. There IS a reason, you just have to find it. It can only be faulty equipment, faulty technique, or super dirty environment.
