My friend has a casing that had some green mold on the top layer. So he removed it now a day later he sees more. Its only in the casing layer. Should he scrap it all off and hope for the best, or should he just junk it? Please help

When trich turns green, that means it usually has sporulated. Spray the area with some H2O2 solution to try to rid of the spores (H2O2 kills spores), then cut out a chunk where the green with at least an inch around to spare. Then spray with more H2O2 solution and fill with clean, moist vermiculite. You can also use salt, if you want.
