I'm not glad anyone is dead, but this guy was just a corporate head. I don't really get all the sadness. He didn't really invent the Apple computer, he had a large part in its marketing. He didn't invent the iPhone, people on his payroll did. He was an entrepreneur, and his business perpetuates abhorrent working conditions in China-- that's the only reason Apple's already-overpriced products are somewhat affordable. (Not that this computer I'm typing on wasn't probably made by kids in East Asia.) Point being, people die all the time. The only real difference was this guy was rich and a good salesman. I'd think that with all this Occupy Wall St. crap going on there'd be less of a corporate-worship mentality.

im pretty sure he played a huge part in the design team. hence why apple had nothing but shitty products until they brought him back. as for all the other haters... like apple or not, they did start something revolutionary. sure other companies made better copies, but lets be honest... without apple, we wouldn't be connected the way we are today

What exactly have they invented that is so revolutionary? Do you think it requires a lot of creativity to create a windows-looking user interface ( which by the way another company did before apple ), to create a smartphone, or to create an iPad? These things came as a consequence of Moore's law. When the computers got good enough to have windows-looking user interfaces we got them. When the microprocessors in the cellphones got good enough to have smartphones we got them. It has nothing to do with apple or any other company.

Apple co-founder and CEO was reabsorbed by the Cosmos today.

It's interesting to note that 90% of a lifetime's worth of medical expenses are incurred in the last two years of life.

As it happens, Jobs had a liver transplant two years ago. This is perhaps the single most complex medical procedure in our arsenal. It typically cost upwards of $750,000 and that's not counting the lifetime of drugs required after the surgery.

And what did that enormous sum of money get him? Yep, two extra years of life.

Republican Values:

1) You can't get married to your spouse who is the same sex as you.
2) You can't have an abortion no matter how much you don't want a child.
3) You can't have a certain plant in your possession or you'll get locked up with a rapist and a murderer.

4) We need a smaller, less-intrusive government.

or a little chianti...

i was thinking why not keep passing the liver on? Presumably the liver is still functioning. "Yeah I only got a 4th generation liver, but it once belonged to both Steve Jobs and Willie Nelson."
