Usually I have interesting dreams. Very full.... Mostly filled with people I've never seen, or maybe seen in passing...
Then there's other things that I have been dreaming since I was about 17 that I don't really know if it counts or not though... Then it's also a touchy subject.
But this one... I remember waking up and thinking it was important, really important. What does anyone think that means?
I think it means you watched too much InuYasha before bed.

ok, i've remembered some more of my dream. it was if... there was a war. and they took me and said i was "part-demon" and gave me knives, then told me i need to prepare. what i was preparing for, i don't know what, but i remember once i had the knives i knew what to do. like the stances and how to use them.
maybe i should buy a knife? haha it's always been an interest.
but... there's probably something i'm sure i would need to stand up for in myself that affects real life. i'm usually a real "good girl". i play by their rules, i'm nice, considerate. i try my best to do everything right. i'm sure i just need to get some recklessness out of my system, the dream probably symbolizes that i'm just... stagnating it and that if i keep doing it. something is going to snap.
maybe? who knows? i guess when the time comes for it to happen. it'll happen... but then it doesn't really make any sense for that either. it feels bigger than just a ..... "i need fun" snap....
thank you everyone for your input though. anything could be plausible.

I had a dreamlike experience in waking life that makes me think our actual waking experiences can be orchestrated like dreams: There's an old mansion up the road that was for sale and as I waited for the owner who lives across the street from the mansion, she sat me at a table upon which was a large porcelain bowl with curious inscriptions in red on a white background. On the wall was a display case full of knives.
I had already viewed the mansion built by slaves by leaning an old bedstead under the fireplace in the basement and climbing up and thru the hearth. Apparently the uppermost story had burned and been roofed over so it was one story shorter than originally, but the berm around the basement is such that it can be removed, restoring it to something of it's former appearance.
The story that goes with it, I was told, is that a Governor of the state once lived there and went mad with syphilis and finally was imprisoned in the adjoining root cellar until his death.

c0sm0nautt said: An old Grandfather said to his grandson, who came to him with anger at a friend who had done him an injustice, "Let me tell you a story.
I too, at times, have felt a great hate for those that have taken so much, with no sorrow for what they do.
But hate wears you down, and does not hurt your enemy. It is like taking poison and wishing your enemy would die. I have struggled with these feelings many times." He continued, "It is as if there are two wolves inside me. One is good and does no harm. He lives in harmony with all around him, and does not take offense when no offense was intended. He will only fight when it is right to do so, and in the right way.
But the other wolf, ah! He is full of anger. The littlest thing will set him into a fit of temper. He fights everyone, all the time, for no reason. He cannot think because his anger and hate are so great. It is helpless anger, for his anger will change nothing.
Sometimes, it is hard to live with these two wolves inside me, for both of them try to dominate my spirit."
The boy looked intently into his Grandfather's eyes and asked, "Which one wins, Grandfather?"
The Grandfather smiled and quietly said, "The one I feed."
that's an amazing quote. really amazing.
