PC with bulge in the bottom - safe to use?

I've had this PC for years, after the first couple uses it's always had this bulge in the bottom - just the middle bottom indented by about half an inch, if that. I was reading a thread where someone left their PC on for an extra hour and it burnt out and the bottom warped, I don't think that's happened to mine to that extent, I think it's possibly just a result of it reaching full pressure (12psi) on a low quality PC?
I read another thread where this happened to them after the first time using it, and they decided it was just a design flaw that has it bulge once it reaches full pressure. I've used it dozens of times with the bulge, it's only just occured to me now to check if it's continually weakening it and if I'm headed towards disaster.
Here's the thread where the consensus was that it was ok: http://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/2772519
Edit: I should clarify, my stove is an electric one, not a gas stove, so it does have that stupid ring that heats up rather than a flame.

That would sketch me out, personally, but it's your kitchen...
Those electric stovetops are not great for PCs. In fact, I seem to remember there being a warning on mine not to use it with the flat-glass-top variety.

I've had this happen to some of my pressure cookers. The two big causes of this warping for me were #1 running the pressure cooker dry #2 artificially cool the pressure cooker. For example setting the cooker on a cool surface while the contents are still under pressure or at least still hot. The big problem I had with them after they warped is that they wouldn't seal properly anymore. I regard pressure cookers as a disposable item now. Walmart has them for $65. Use it until it doesn't work. Pitch it and grab another one. I'd say in your case it's time for a trip to walmart. By the way the pots to the warped cookers work great for pasteurisation pots for your bulk substrate.

Or just get a decent AA in the first place, cheaper in the long run.
