ok step 1 get a rye grain jar that has for some reason stopped colonizing for other reasons than obvious con-tams.
step 2 accidentally break jar on the floor.
step 3 lazily vacuum up spilled rye grain.
step 4 and in two days congratulations you have a fully colonized vacuum.

I like how the lent makes a nice dry filter layer on top. I'll have to add some pocket change to my next batch of jars!

Lol, if you painted the dirt canister that would actually make a badass stealth grow. I might try that in the future.

I dumped some left over substrate in a trash can outside a 2 months ago and then later that night threw like 10-15 WBS kernels into the trash that didn't come out of a few jars when I spawned them to bulk. I went to toss out some trash a few days later and saw it colonizing the left over substrate. I decided to not throw m trash bag in there and observe. Sure enough I saw one tiny fruit after 3 weeks. And let me tell you how crazy disgusting that trash can is. Mushroom mycelium can be tough sometimes.

It is definitely colonized with something. Doesn't look like cubensis mycelium, though.

Just had a revelation. Get rid of that shit asap! If its contaminated, and it likely is. And it goes to spore in there. Whats going to happen when you turn that thing on next time?
Might as well spray your house with a contamination aerosol. Shit will be sprayed throughout your house, and you'll never get rid of it.
This was a funny post though.

I am going to bleach the thing when it is done doing what it is doing just as a precaution. It has never been allowed in my fruiting room to begin with and i am sure it is mycelium i accidentally knocked it over and it started blueing and it smells like good ole mycelium to.
