[Bulk] PF Albino Grow

Cubensis Strain: PF Albino Jar Substrate: Organic Rye Berries (PC'd @ 15psi for 90 minutes) Tub Substrate: Botanicare Cocogro, Vermiculite, and Gypsum Lighting: SunBlaze T5 44 on 12/12 Cycle
September 8
On August 28, I spawned 6 quarts of PF Albino rye berry jars to 1 tub using Damion5050's Coir Tek, with an added half cup of gypsum. I let the tub colonize for 10 days, and today I introduced it to fruiting conditions.
I don't use a light setup or anything fancy. The tubs are in my closet until they're ready for fruiting, and when the tub is ready for fruiting, I just place it on a table in my grow room. As far as lighting goes, it gets what sunlight comes through the windows. When I get more tubs, I'll be moving my table into my garage and setting up my dehydrators, then in the grow room I'll put down some panda film on the floor and start stacking the tubs.
I have 1 more PF Albino tub I put together the other day, and 19 more jars currently almost all done colonizing, to make 3 more tubs.
***Sidenote: I also have a Bulk Treasure Coast G2G Grow going on at the same time. I decided to split them up into 2 grow logs to keep better track of things so it doesn't get confusing.
September 9
It looks like I'll be putting at least one substrate together in the next couple days and spawning some new jars to a tub. These are all of the PF Albino jars I have at the moment. Some are G2G and some are LC from a spore syringe.

And here is my only PF Albino tub I have fruiting right now. I still have one consolidating, along with another from my Treasure Coast Grow. So if I post a picture of the closet where the tubs go for consolidation, not all are one strain. Anyway, here's the tub:

I started keeping a misting/fanning schedule this grow. I try to go in once ever hour or 2 when I'm home to fan the tub off and write the time down on a sheet.
September 13
Well I took a look at all my PF Albino jars today. Wasn't too thrilled with what I discovered. A lot of the jars stalled. I decided to take one and shake it up to see if it was fucked up like the PES Hawaiians I tried growing from LC. Turns out the jars stalled and have some kind of bacterial infection. I only have 5 jars that look worthy of spawning, so I'm going to sterilize the stalled/bacteria contaminated jars, clean them out, and put them back in storage.
I have 1 PF Albino tub on day 6 of fruiting, 1 in my closet consolidating, and 5 colonized jars to be spawned to a tub today. So I only have 3 PF Albino tubs going this time around. I think my LC is too old, hence the bacteria.
September 16
This is the first grow that I've tried to use felt to cover the tub holes, and I've found that the felt allows for too much air flow. Within an hour or so after misting the substrate, it looks as though I hadn't sprayed it at all. This potential humidity problem led me to reversing back to the tried and true method that has worked for me, and many others in the past. Polyfil.
I have a couple pinheads popping up and a lot of primordia in tub #1. Will be fruiting the next 2 this weekend. I think the change back to polyfil will help these mushrooms pop up. I'm guessing they're going to start popping up in the next week. Can't wait to share the pictures. They're some special mushrooms. Definitely one of my favorite strains.
September 17
Finished putting together my PF Albino tubs a few days ago. I have one fruiting now, and will be fruiting the other 2 in the next week or so. This is a picture of the one PF Albino tub currently fruiting along with a Treasure Coast tub from my other current grow.
PF Albino Tubs Consolidating: PF Albino & Treasure Coast Tub Fruiting:
September 23
The light is off for the night, so I decided to pull out the next 2 PF Albino tubs are due to be fruited tomorrow, the 24th. Figured I would take them out tonight and rearrange the grow room in a more, "light-efficient" setup.
I took the polyfil out for now just to allow surface evaporation to take place to trigger pinning. It may be replaced later on, or not. We'll see how things go. In previous grows, I've either left polyfil out of the holes, or rotated tubs and left the lids off for certain amounts of time. The mushrooms exploded when I did that.

So far, I'm just getting some small abort sized mushrooms. Hopefully the big ones start popping up. Nothing like a PF Albino canopy. Bright white (and sometimes blue )
October 4
So one of the tubs looks like shit. It hasnt produced anything but aborts. I'm going to to toss it. That leaves 2 other tubs. One has mushrooms growing in it, the other is starting to knot up nicely.

Fruited 2 more tubs and rearranged my grow room AGAIN. because i have another grow going on at the same time (split up by strain) so i have a lot of tubs, so i need to spread the light out as evenly as possible. at least thats what i want to do.
got a few pins, hoping the tub starts taking off sometime soon. its taking long enough. i figured id have harvested by now.

And that's why you test your LC's.

i consider that a test. ive got so many jars, lids, and rye berries that tossin jars isnt a problem.
edit: ive also had LCs contaminate one jar, and not another.
in fact, i had a treasure coast GLC that i tested on 2 half pint rye berry jars. 3 days after inoculation, one jar had trich, the other was healthy. i took that jar and did G2G to 6 quart jars. then did G2G to, idk how many more, and thats where a lot of the spawn from this grow came from.

i used noobies lid tek
but i use plastic lids instead of metal ones, obviously. they dont get all rusty and shit. theyre reuseable. after every grow, i test the glue of the injector ports. if they pop out with a little pressure from the inside, i take them out and reglue them. and make sure to sandpaper the plastic lid where the glue will be sticking so it has a better grip.

so far my albino tub is doing pretty shitty. it looks like the entire tub pinned up and stopped at the primordia stage, and the only mushrooms popping up are aborts and theres not that many. and its been in fruiting for 17 days. idk wtf is going on it with. i have 2 more albino tubs, so hopefully at least one of them actually grows some good mushrooms. it seems like pf albino throws off a lot of aborts, and takes forever to actually grow decent sized mushrooms.
could just be the genetics. idk. but i wanna see some big albinos already!!! somethings funky with this tub or something.
