I keep reading this, everytime hoping that i will have an answer but sadly i still dont. It happened to a tc cake of mine, in the fc for three weeks and never showed anything. Even after a redunk.

some time its genetics. if you got a spore print from that one mush, you should use it to make a syringe maybe that will give you a better shot.

My thoughts are that you're over thinking this. Who cares if a cake didn't fruit very well? You should already have a whole new batch of cakes coming in behind these, and then a new batch behind those. If you don't like the genetic pool of your spores, then use different genetics. It's all pretty simple, but you're making it complicated and creating threads worrying about a pf cake having small fruits. If you want more fruits then you're going to have to grow bulk. And, if you want larger fruits, you're going to have to experiment with lots of different genetics until you find ones that fruit the way you like.

your comment is very true i think in this case.
you should look to bulk or casing for better fruit, and if your genetics are the problem, find some agar, make a homemade armbox and isolate a strain. good luck

Is it multispore? If so than most likely it seems it would be genetics since your other cakes did fine. Ive had way too much variation in results with multi spore for my liking so I cloned a fruit from my best flush to agar and then isolated. I'm waiting on my WBS to cool down as we speak so I can do an agar transfer. I'm also making my first LC with Karo with the agar as well. I'm hoping my reslts will be much more predictable with this. Goodluck
