CO2 release hole.
    #1518637 - 05/04/03 02:04 AM (13 years, 7 months ago)

Is this possible. How should Batman do it. He has a bubbler running 24/7 with no why to get out the old air.

Drill a hole near the bottom of the fruiting chamber and slap a filter patch over it.

Some venders sell filter disks...or Tyvek could be used... or even plug the hole with a wad of polyfill.

Drill hole near the BOTTOM of your fruiting chamber, stuff with polyfill, cheap and abundant, find it at craft's store.

You can actually drill several holes, all near the bottom. Because CO2 is heavier than air, it will sink and go through these holes. Tyvek also works, get it at your post office for free.

with this set up a friend heard you do not need the holes. The fresh air circulates the old Co2 which actually aids in the growth process. Would a hole or two really help?

This is the active pod with out the mister. The mister is not needed It stays at a lovely 72 to 75 Degrees all the tme and 97% humidity consistantly

you need to be fanning everytime you check on them then!! they need air, and if you leave some mushies growing in a sealed chamber for a few days, then come back and give them a big fanning with the lid, they put on a huge spurt of growth in the next buncha hours
