I would really like to.  The reason that I got into GVT in the first place is my lack of equipment, though.  I only have about 130lbs of weight and no bench or rack.  I've been looking into olympic sets, but I just don't have the money right now :frown:

Maybe I should start saving up. :shrug:

Do you do powerlifting?

Find a hole in the wall gym, or hit up garage sales. Quit with the volume training and do explosive training, especially if you want to do martial arts. Bruce Lee was tiny but one of the strongest men by weight. He did lots of long muscle training rather than volume stuff and power stuff. You really wanna build fast twitch, as you'll get the best results for your wants. Bodyweight exercises would even suffice honestly, build like a rock ledge to hang from and rings. Cross fit may even be better.

I got the heavy bag today, did my arms GVT & as much as I could do on the bag.  I felt pathetic using the bag, since I used to do 6x5minutes :sad:

It's alright though, I'll work back up to it! :awesome:  It feels great to get my lungs working again.

I didn't know that about Bruce Lee, that's kinda cool.  I like the GVT a lot and honestly I'm having too much fun with it to drop it right now.  Maybe in a few more weeks I will consider a gym or something, but I like working out a lot better at home :shrug:

I got my bag & stand at a second-hand shop, and they had a 300lb olympic set for 160$.  Not bad.

If anyone has some good heavy bag routines, I'd love to hear them!

Yeah, I really like doing GVT.  It's my favorite routine so far (except when I was tiny and could max out on my little weights).  It's great only counting real reps of good form; it keeps me really focused.

Pretty interesting. :thumbup:  His routine is crazy as hell though.  It seems like it would completely tear you down.  I never read much about Bruce Lee, but that article makes him sound like a fucking beast lol

I think I'm gonna check out some bruce lee movies in the near future :laugh:

For PWO I recommend dark energy cuz it's like 14.99 a tub with 50 servings, and totally gets you off. I took a serving at 8 last night, and after an hour of sleep I'm still up :frown:

Yup :smile: it doesn't taste bad either. I'm not sensitive to stimulants by any means, and this stuff kicks my ass every time, even with the 5 gram serving

Nice.  I'm not good at analyzing the ingredients (although I should probably do some research since I do consume the stuff lol), but I can always tell what works well for me.  This looks nice in terms of low caffeine, though.  I might actually give this a shot since it's so cheap.

Maybe after my Lean Rev (in about 40 days).  I'm looking forward to comparing it to the stuff the locals are always hyping up, expecially @ that price.:smile2:

Lol 225mg is like 4 cups of coffee, the 1,3DMAA is the stuff that really gets your rocks off! It's awesome, as well as the kre alkalyn.

Haha, yeah I have a huge caffeine tolerance.  I drink about a pot of coffee per day + usually some soda.  I have noticed that the kre-alkalyn is in all of the shit that actually works though. :tongue2:

Mutha fucka, this thing die and rot off??? I totally missed my workout B day yesterday....my buddy and his massive growth has convinced me to dick around with the stupidest shit I could, which resulted in test flu for the past week (about 5 hours after, lasting probably 5 hours) and it decimated me. The pain isn't horrid, and my lifts rock, but only as long as I'm not having these flu symptoms. Weights up, water doesn't stay in my system long, and I've not had a regular shit since I started. Going to keep at SS, and work on diet, bought lots of chicken and rice and pasta and tuna. Really psyched!

Where are you guys at, anyone starting a new program soon???

I'm trying to get extremely lean right now. I am definitely getting quite close to where I want to be. What I've been doing is reducing my heavy lifting to 3-4 times a week with 2-3 days of cardio. I have also been cutting off any major carb intake, although I have some carbs on training days at lunch before I workout.

I'm getting my diet back; it feels great!  I ate 1200 calories worth (around 230g carbs) of potatoes among other numerous meals yesterday,  Also, the best thing that has come in a long time has been my new heavy bag.  I feel like I'm absolutely shredded (I'm not) after working with it for only 3 days. :laugh:  My lats are sore as fuck and actually looking quite nice.  Also, I feel like I'll be back to my 5 minute rounds in a couple of weeks.  The first round I did when I got it was only 45 seconds (lol), but I can now do about 2 minutes pretty well.  :lifter:

I fucking love working out :smile2:
