What substrate mix helps for the best yields?

I've decided to think about what bulk mixture would help produce the best yield. Talkin' bountiful nice sized fruits!
One thing that I've learned is that the depth of substrate leads to decent sized fruit and obviously the surface area leads to more fruitbodies.
All that comes to my mind is, Horse Poo, Straw and some gypsum or lime.
Would love to learn the ultimate substrate recipe!

IME optimized fruit sizes have always been realized by using a properly prepared compost mix. Mushroom Adventures had a recipe on line for a while...poo, straw, cottonseed hulls, urea or chicken shit, some crushed limestone, watered and turned for a month....then pasteurized During the composting phase/ammonia cycle, beneficial bacteria have a chance to flourish...and help make more available mushroom food etc etc.

I wanted to know more about this too, i have heard that gypsum radically increase yield for other species, as well as coffee helps since they say the mycelium seems to like it when it colonizes.
