'Amazon Red' on corn cased with vermiculite/coir
    #15171580 - 10/03/11 12:27 PM (13 years, 3 months ago)

Around a week ago I put these trays into my 'shotgun'-terrarium: 'Amazon Red', ~1:3 corn:vermiculite/coir (50/50), sprayed and fanned ~four times a day, 8-12 hours of light (9W), ~20°C.
Now they look like this, is everything alright?

Is it just me, or does it look a bit overlayed? I don't think coir is the best casing. Too nutritious.

Your opinion is valued: should the biggest one be harvested and printed?

Is this 'normal'? What's it called?

fruitbodies are just condensed mycelium. what you have is just mycelium growing from the stipe, probably due to inadequate FAE. this kind of growth can happen anywhere, even on the cap. Its not bad or anything, just an indicator of less than optimal conditions.

Don´t print it. Prints are like a load of cum, you never know whatcha gonna get

Clone it. Take tissue from the stem and drop into a few LC´s. Wait 1-2 weeks, suck it up into syringes, inoculate cakes and grain at the same time.

More air holes for ventilation? Current grow box (22,8dm³, 40x30x19cm) had 30 holes* (7mm in diameter) which are covered with micropore tape.
*Made seven more.

One of these days, Alice... Bang! Zoom! Straight to the Moon!
But I do need the print for a friend of mine.
