Weird mushroom
    #15167247 - 10/02/11 04:04 PM (9 years, 7 months ago)

So I originally posted this in mushroom cult to show it off not for an id but the thread got closed, so I figure I should post it here and see what some others think.
This is the point where it was attached to the ground.

Habitat: used Substrate pile - mostly had manure and old wbs spawn (spawn was from Penis envy, Cambodian, Brazilian strains)

Gills: Not sure if there are gills since there is no stipe/gill attach point as far as I can tell

Stem: There is no stem to speak of either

Cap: Not really sure what to call the color of the cap

Spore print color: I dont think its has any spores

Bruising: It doesnt seem to want to bruise

Location: Picked in Mid Western USA

Looks like a Large Scleroderma to me. OP, cut it open and tell me what color the insides are. Even better post a picture.
