What is the risk-level for this situation
    #15160244 - 10/01/11 12:07 AM (9 years, 7 months ago)

I am a college student who's never grown shrooms before.  I'm not planning on growing them anytime soon, but *hypothetically* if I were to order a mycobag online and grow some stones inside my dorm room, how risky would that be?  In this scenario I would order the mycobag and syringe online from my personal labtop, I would pay for them using MasterCard, and I would grow them inside my room, in a trunk full of clothes with a combination lock.

- What is the likelihood in this scenario that law enforcement would tap my internet history, etc?

- If they did find out that I ordered such materials online, from my room, to my room, would they be likely to get a hold of a warrant to enter and search my room?

- Hypothetically, what other advice would you have to offer to the person in this scenario?

Thanks

you should be using peer block so people cant track you, make sure to turn on the function that blocks schools and stuff

also, you prolly shouldn't do this i dont know what other people think, but in my opinion your risking alot

i suggest that if you REALLY want to do this, order a shiitake syringe and grow those as practice, that way if you do get caught you can be like, no they are shiitake, and they will be like, oh... , thats actually really cool, and will in turn think of you as a smart ass student

yes, stones are favorable for stealth and are pretty easy to just keep tucked away for a pleasant surprise down the road. They are a interesting species too.

Leave it in the basement or some shit...  go get it for fall break or whatever...  Stones are as stealth as it gets from what I understand... but in the dorm???  I wouldnt risk it....

not worth it in the dorms... dorms give you basically no safety or privacy when it comes down to it. if you're the kind of person who doesn't ever get crazy and can keep their mouth shut, as well as keeping a low profile, then go for it.

just don't get busted.

It's going to be tucked in a trunk with a combo lock.  I could also just lock it in my car.  But my house is in another state so no way I'm going there.

I wouldn't sell them or tell anyone...my main question is whether or not police generally watch for people who order these things online, and track where they sent to, etc.  I was also wondering if the fact you ordered a syringe and a bag online would be enough evidence for them to get a warrant and actually search your place.

I grew mad shrooms in the dorm.  Not saying it was a good idea but all my friends knew about it and helped me out when they could.  It was great fun we tripped balls and played a lot of fantasy games.  The only thing we didn't do in the rooms was smoke weed, that's the easiest way to get caught for anything.  Also I laugh at you for thinking the cops have your internet bugged.  There are many people buying hard drugs and illegal pornography on the net.  Your the definition of a small fish.  Also remember that stones take a long time to grow, growing a few pf cakes is relatively quick.  (Cue the scores of stoners telling me how much of a dumb ass I am)

The number one question here is can u keep your mouth shut? all it takes is one ignorant snitch finding out and turning you in "for your own safety". IMO not worth the risk. not only would you be arrested ( probably for a felony depending where you are) but more than likely kicked out of school and lose your tuition or scholarship.
If you really wanted to grow some you could get away with some grain jars in a drawer and then find a spot outside in the shade and spawn it with some hpoo and straw. goodluck man.....may the force be with you.

the car is an even dumber idea than the really dumb idea of dorm grows, if
you can get off campus housing or even rent a small storage room you'd be
much better off than growing some place you have no control over

Sclerotia will need no real tending too. Doesn't have to be in your room either, could be a discarded locker with a new lock you put on it or something.

i totally just had a flashback of how much dorms costed me and it was outrageous. if i were you, i'd just work on moving out of the dorms and then you have all the freedom you can ask for.

Haha too late for that...and the main thing is I want to grow some to take home with me for Christmas break, cause I'd love to trip at home (all my trips have been at college so far).

Just to clarify things, I'm growing stones, which don't need any light or air right?  If so I don't really HOW I could get caught unless I was being tracked by the school over the Internet, because I could keep it tucked away in my trunk out of sight and never have to bring it out except to collect my yields.  My roommate wouldn't care either, and I would have no reason to tell anyone anyways.

I'm not just trying to justify it to myself, I really do value everyone's opinion and input but I don't know if everyone fully understands the situation here.  I'm not going to have the grow taking up my bathtub or sitting in my window in plain view or anything.

Growing drugs + Dorm rooms can = Criminal charges and getting kicked out
of school.

No one ever plans to get caught, things can get out of your control very
easily.
