Yes, Tyvek or Micron-type filters or Polyfill all perform the same function, impeding other "nasty" micro-organisms from getting to the substrate.

cheeky I know, but if anyone was feeling particularly public spirited I would love a p. cyan (or derivative) with which to play, time to experiment with other species methinks. I have very little to offer in return sterile syringes, cambo prints/syringes
here's hoping

Okay. I had to leave town for a week and the pans fruits were stunted due to lack of air exchange sa you can see: Soaked the rye grass seed for 24 hours, strain then mix with some verm until the maximum amount of water content was soaked up without pooling in the mixing bowl. Then this was sterilised in 350ml jars and innoculated with agar wedge. WHen colonised, cased with sterilised coco coir mixed with verm. Fruited withn two weeks, first flush was with smaller skinnier stems than manure, but second flush when i returned from abroad was about 20 of these little stunted guys as above. Ill do it again, as i now know it works. Next flush if it performs i guarantee good photos!

yeah exactly! Straw is a pain in the arse and manure makes your girlfriend get very shitty when it pressuer cooks in your kitchen! RYe Grass seed is easy and if you have trouble with the moisture content, you can just use verm to maintain it.
PC shit.....man...come on. pasteurize 50/50 composted dung/straw mix ture in a 55 gallon drum OUTSIDE. people people. why why.

They do they just stay REALLY SMALL. Cambodian cyan: 2inch- 3 inch tall < 1/4 inch caps stems about 2 mm thick
200 of them equals about 1 gram dry after 2 flushes, then the mean green comes calling and your asking yourself why you didn't just iNoculate a jar of manure:perlite/vermiculite.
The straight rye grass seed seems alittle more promising for the Manure aquisition challenged.
I guess a thourough investigation might be in order though, the STRAIN might have alot to do with it as well. Definetly worth a try to grow them on everything you got handy.

Yeah Casings are required for good fruiting performance. I think that isolate i am using is redudant. Ill try another - this time two casings of manure and two of rye grass seed - then it should give us some better results...
