my firefox wouldnt start when i clicked it and it just crashed
so i followed some guide which had me get my crash report and type it in on a mozzila firefox webpage which gives you a bunch of information, the guide had me go to modules on this page and look for unkown ones,
there was 3 unkown files , but i only deleted 2 cause i couldnt find one on my comp. , so i just let it slide(im lazy) because my firefox started to work again
a few days later now my firefox is unable to connect but since its not crashing i cant follow the steps i did before
how do i check my modules to see if there are unkown ones again?

The information you want should be in the crash reports. To get your previous crash reports, if you've submitted them, you can follow the below steps in Windows:
- Click the Windows Start button, and select Run....
- Type in "%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Crash Reports\submitted" including the quotation marks and click OK.
- In the resulting folder will be a text file for each crash report you have submitted. Using the View menu, arrange them by date to find out which is the newest file
- double-click on it to open it.
The "Modules" tab will then appear and you can check them out from the crash report.
Beyond that, however; a good page to follow for this issue is at the following link (which is where the info above was copied from). Good Link to Follow
Obviously you'll want to do a complete virus scan, malware scan, and AIDS test as well. Disabling any unnecessary add ons can help get things more stable, even if its not a virus, until you figure out what's going on.

I was joking with regards to the AIDS test (the disease the HIV virus causes) The point is that you might as well be thorough. Malwarebytes is a good program, but its not sufficient to check for viruses and other malware. There's plenty of good online virus scans, though I don't really know which are supposed to be good. I know Panda Antivirus has one and so do others.
I don't know what xpmapplugin.dll refers to or quite what the relevance of this is. If you ask the question more clearly perhaps someone will be able to answer. If not, there's plenty of good computer help forums with users who could help you.
Have you tried disabling all of your addons/extensions that aren't needed and seeing if that fixes the problem?

malware bytes, in combination with microsoft security essentials in safe mode has always worked for me. run c cleaner as well.
then check your modules again and see if you have the same results. also is the performance of your web browser only an issue with firefox? if other browsers work fine you can always uninstall firefox and reinstall it.
so you have a random piece of malicious software that is found in the module but the virus scanner won't pick up and search won't find it. most likely you have a registry error caused by the virus so you can't find it even in safe mode.
this is kind of the opposite:
http://lifehacker.com/269063/install-a-dll-file-in-windows
how to install .dll instead of safely remove. did c cleaner give you a decent enough result? .dll files are very sensitive kept in the system 32 folder. unfortunately for windows users, linux and macintosh don't generally allow web browsers to effect the root system file folders as much as windows does, without administrative approval. and the answer windows has? besides virus scan? close off your ports, but then you have limited network access, not great for going online, which involves a network
good luck, I need to look at my modules first before I can give you any more advice. the practice what you preach does apply. if I can toy around with this concept and get any more advice, I'll let you know. in the mean time go ahead and do all the virus scans and registry cleaners in safe mode that you can. also, windows has a great safety scanner, it has to be reinstalled every two weeks, so it tries to keep up with all the latest viruses, etc.
