it'll make 6 1/2pt jars.

You can get flax at health-stores, like quinoa.

You can get finch birdseed at supermarkets, hardware stores, lots of places. Wild birdseed works too.

I usually get about 7, half pint jars out of aliens recipe. The flax can be found in some grocery stores(at least in my area) or if no luck there, check the health food store while your picking up the quinoa(keen~wa)They usually carry it in seed and meal form. Meal form is preferred since it is already ground up and saves you an extra step.

The finch seed is just bird seed that consists mostly of millet. You can find what your looking for at wal-mart. It will be called "finch food". You'll probably need a coffee grinder to grind the bird seed. Before I bought a grinder, I just filled leather gloves(new gloves, not used) and beat the shit out of them with a hammer(Hey, it works :smile:
