I was just wondering if you fan dryed a shroom for 24 hours till semi dry then packed in kosher salt entirely encased and stirred it occasionally would that draw out all the moisture? Would the salt affect the alkaloid content at all?

Something easy all those people who complain that can't find dessicant and you could pack lotsa shrooms in salt without having to have a fan setup or dessication chamber for those one time growers.

Go to Walgreens and buy some epsom salts. Make sure to remove the moisture from it prior to using.

I agree, Epsom Salts work great and are cheap and reusable. Place E.S over foil, and bake until white and crunchy.
