Who likes to include it in their spiritual sadhana? or who likes breathing here at all?
I like to do a few different forms of pranayama, namely Anuloma Viloma, Spinal Breathing, and Bhastrika. I find that Alternate Nostril breathing (Anuloma V) is perfect after going through various asanas and before sitting down to meditate, really balances the energy flow in the body and seems to have a very clear stabilizing effect on my mind.
Some of the key signs of success using pranayama are a pleasant humming in the body, a deep inner silence, and sometimes I hear the anahata (heart chakra) astral sounds, specifically cymbals, flute, or the sound of clouds.
What are your experiences? Disucss

So ancient the air we breathe... So new every breath

I dont do medication practice but i HAVE done pranayama. It is very powerful mind altering experience. First time was many years ago when i was in bed and decided to breath in a joined up way, and the sensation i got was of my body going round through the bed like a wheel.
About 2001 I tried Holotropic breathing which is more or less same as pranayama (would you agree?), and WO VERY powerful experiences, both of which eventually had me crying till my eyes were very sore. I see it that i was letting out feelings i had bottled up. I did the breathing

Wonderful things happen when I am thinking and looking at breath only. I'm making it habit to just notice breath and sit in darkness before sleep. Last night thought after thought rushed through my head and I just sat and observed, thoughts arose about breath which was being observed at the moment, then thought pattern sorta became 'locked' on breath and sunk into silence, revealing it. Silence became only thing observable also revealing inertness of mind. It all really reminds me of this song
"Lay down all thought surrender to the void, it is shining"

inspiration c.1300, "immediate influence of God or a god," especially that under which the holy books were written, from O.Fr. inspiracion "inhaling, breathing in; inspiration," from L.L. inspirationem (nom. inspiratio), noun of action from pp. stem of L. inspirare "inspire, inflame, blow into," from in- "in" (see in- (2)) + spirare "to breathe" (see spirit). Literal sense "act of inhaling" attested in English from 1560s. Meaning "one who inspires others" is attested by 1867.

During some yoga poses, doing breath of fire is a great way to help speed up the release of tension. I find this especially helpful in the cobra position.
Alternate nostril breathing, slow deep breathing, and holding of the breath (with the diaphragm, not by closing off the airway) are others that I love to do on a regular basis.
If you don't know the details of the above let me know, id be glad to elaborate.
