Found this growing in the grass after few days rain. northern ohio, september.

Found this one growing same day after rain but this was growing out of wood, an old telephone pole that had been laying in my yard for years.. northern ohio, september.

#2 could be Gymnopilus or Callistosporium, check the spore print color.

thanks, the spore print is an orange color.

any ideas on what type of gym?
im thinking Gymnopilus braendlei
