Watering Mushrooms(Outdoor Cultivation)

Living in a Southern California climate(near Los Angeles), how often and how much should I water my mushrooms? Also, after each flush, should I replace fertilizer and straw as to keep the nutrient level high? If not after each flush, how often should I do it?

Actually, it's really not in the FAQ. At least nothing very helpful regarding watering and nothing at all regarding nutrient replacement (whether necessary or not). Of all the FAQ's, the outdoor one is the worst, but it's still very useful.
