Rehydrating spores Szygy style!!

Hey guys.. I was just making up some spore syringes and inoculated 8 jars soon there after.. then I thought..maybe these things need time to rehydrate.
I did some googling and found a few posts on Shroomery that seemed promising and a quote from some random website.
This is the website quote
Quote:
If the spores in the print have been dried and are not fresh, it is best to wait six hours to use the spore syringe. The spores need to rehydrate. If your in a hurry, the spores can still rehydrate in the culture jars.
Is there any truth to this? It's only 8 jars that were inoculated with 1cc ea. I mean, I can just re-inoculate them tomorrow after 24 hours as passed..no lack of spores here. But if there is a decent chance they will be viable after they rehydrate in the jar I might just leave them. I am finding quite a few posts on shroomery saying that the spores will rehydrate fine in the jar. Anyone with some first hand experience with this?

Well guys.. it's been 10 days. It took a bit longer than usual for the jars to start colonizing, but the spores certainly did rehydrate in the jars. I opted not to reinoculate based on Doc_T and some other peoples advice on Myco-Tek. I am psyched..it's my first time working from a print ((ooooh devirginized)). And my $1 Szygy print seems to be aseptic so far!! (From Free Spore Ring Earth).

I hope these make it all the way with no contams. I'll spawn to coir in a monotub like I've been doing..once I get a solid grow I can use the other 6 syringes I made from the print. The joys of prints!! And the syringes are dark as fuck too.

Well, that is very strong rhizomorphic growth.
You have some good genes there.
Thanks for sharing.

I'm thinking about ordering a print of this variety, as I do love T.M. So PLEASE keep us updated with some pics.
Those jars look great by the way. I've never used pre-made syringes. I make my own and have never had problems that way. Where'd you get a $1 print? I got my prints from the spore ring. Good dudes over there.

Same place, free spore ring earth (fsre.nl).
So far so good. I will make prints and spread the wealth assuming it goes alright.
I have a monotubn finishing but I don't have anything ready to print on.. so if I get to it in time I can make a shitload of Maz prints.
