making a ghetto incubator for a masturbator
    #1510387 - 05/01/03 05:36 AM (15 years, 27 days ago)

My friend's masturbating pet rabbit has a question about incubating pf jars/brf/pes amazonian strain.  It is his very, very first time growing schedule I drugs in a home environment and the rabbit doesn't want to fuck shit up.

Is a elaborate incubation set up necessary? Or should the jerking bunny just stick the jars in a dark corner behind his shit box?  Is the aquarium heater really needed or should the damn lagomorph just follow the MMGG guidlines and "stick 'em in a dark spot" around general room temp?

The little bunny is illiterate so I have to spend lots of time looking through the FAQ's trying to sort out the relevent information. Maybe your grandmothers can give my friend's perveted bunny a "hand"

I wouldn't call a $15 aquarium heater in a $2 rubbermaid tub an elaborate set up.

but when you can spend 0 on a incubator..why not....just put them in something dark(box the jars came in?) and wrap a blanket up and put them somewhere warm and forge them for a month

>"put them somewhere warm and forge them for a month"

Or you could put them in an incubator for 10 days. The $20 is worth it when you can have fruits twice as fast. Also, having jars somewhere where the temp is constantly going from 70-90 makes for cakes that don't pin as fast. Cakes pin when they go from the constant 86 of the incubator to the much cooler terrarium.

But if $20 is really gonna put a dent in your wallet. Get a heating pad (surely you have a heating pad) and put it under the box they came in. This runs the risk of catching your house on fire though.

I get so tired of hearing this....I have never set the house on fire more than twice....in an afternoon....  I had used a heating pad for more than 3 years with no fires, no dark spots...no anything bad....depending on the setup it's a very effecient way to give good even distribution of heat....

Mine was 2 tubs, the bottom held an inch of water, heating pad under it. the upper/inner tub had about 2 dozen smalll holes around the perimiter and a few in the center....it produced humidity, not really needed for incubation, but it did keep the substrate from getting dry....simple, easy, and can be made into just  random pieces in a matter of seconds....
