Anyone think this is the case?
Personally I think he is no better than Bush, maybe even worse.

hardly. what about nixon? reagan? bush? hell what about james buchanan?
I'm not a democrat nor was I ever a fawning obama fan but I'd simply call him a totally ineffective disappointment of a "people's champion" with no balls rather than worst president ever.
and yes, I said reagan. I don't know how his memory has survived untarnished this many years. I'd easily say he's in the running for worst president ever.

Worst? Nah.
I've been watching all the debates, sessions, etc. Obama has TRIED to do a lot of this country, and a lot of the republican house has shot everything down that he's tried to push foreward, that would have actually HELPED this country, so he's gone off of what the repukes wanted.
But since he's president, he looks like the bad guy.
However, I don't like him as a president ANYWAY. I think he's an awful president. But the blame for a lot of what has happened shouldn't fall on him entirely.

I wouldn't say worst either, but definitely bad. One thing though, I still think a lot of the stuff he proposed that had been shot down weren't necessarily good ideas. I just think that our monkeys in office need to work together instead of bickering.

the way I see it the republicans are assholes and the democrats are mostly assholes, I'm sure some of them genuinely want to help the common people and sure they'll try and throw us a bone every once in a while to keep us complacent but those democrats that actually want to do something are either too few in number or just lack the balls to make any substantial changes. it seems like when the republicans are in power they just ram through whatever insane fucking bill or measure they want and everyone just goes along with it but the democrats can't seem to accomplish shit even when they have the presidency and a senate majority...
alas, american politics are just a reality show psychodrama to make us think we have some sort of choice or say in what position our masters bend us over and fuck us in anyway

so what happened in his first two years when the republicans had absolutely no say in what was happening, why is it the democrats arent supporting Obama, even his most hardcore dick suckers like Harry Reid doesnt support this so called jobs bill of his

Obama is just keeping the pilot light on while we forget about all the war mongering, corrupt, empire building bastards that have been president of the US for the past 50 or 60 years.
He is just doing enough to sustain the military industrial complex, the Drug War, etc.
He's keeping the plan on hold while we calm down a bit.

america has had horrible presidents in a row: most all of them were criminals, criminally incompetent or... well the political climate has been worsening since the 60s and is under the control of corporations. obama isn't an excellent president but he's got nothing on bush or nixon. to say obama is a bad president is laughable, look at what he has to work with.

I don't agree that he's a bad president but I will agree that he has no balls. He's had ideas for this country that are intended to support the people but he's has been blocked from throwing any of them into action. So we'll never actually know if he was a good or bad president. This countries current problems are not Obamas fault, they were caused by previous presidents. But Obama needs to wake up and realize that the republicans will never meet democrats in the middle.

Anyone ever think that he inherited a ticking time bomb, the likes of which American history has never seen (at least in a fiscal sense)? This is not something that Bush, Jr. or Sr. left to be cleaned up, but rather decades of fiscal irresponsibility, with absolutely no oversight, that finally blew up in everyone's face. In my opinion, he just happened to be at the helm. To think that any one president can right the wrongs of decades of malfeasance is horribly misguided IMO.

Carter, hands down.
The Obamanation is a very close second.

There was plenty of oversight. Too much, in fact. And it was the policies that he supported that led to it.

Really, such as what? Are you suggesting that Obama was the was the underpinning of the sub-prime mortgage lending scheme that ultimately toppled the house of cards. C'mon!

He supported Affirmative Action lending, also known as the CRA, and was actively involved in threatening to sue banks to weaken their lending standards to accommodate less credit worthy individuals.
