Depression is definitely a side to discontinuing, until your nuts start producing again. Congrats on the job! What's your weight and shit, it's good to document to see what's lost during pct.

I've stayed a pretty steady 205 throught the entire cycle
I started at 185 so a great success imo
How long will it take for natural function to begin again

Depends on total length of run and pct(s) being used. hCG gets the gonads working fast, but it can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 2 months, I think you'd probably be close to the 1 month range though, but that's why they say run a pct for as ling as your cycle.

Those are great anti-estrogens and AI, but nothing that triggers test production so it may be upwards of a month. You'll know you're producing again when your nuts come back to size.

the only thing that holds me back from hcg is a lack of knowledge.

its a powder that you have to mix with biostatic water and keep refrigerated right..
and it has to be injected with an insulin pin in your gut??

wtf

Yeah a sub cutaneous injection, like 300mcg I think or 300IU, I've never really researched dosage cuz I've never needed to. It's pretty good shit though from what I've heard/read in terms of getting the nuts going

Indica you should try the 5x5 or try it after the SS. its not going backwards because your starting at 60-70% so its like your de loading for the first 3 weeks sort of...

The workout itself is set to fail. Meaning by the time you get to 90-95% of your 1 rep max. You wont be able to do it.

The first time i did it, i did it with a guy who did strongman competitions. He had another version. It was when you went to 85,90,95% you actually went down in reps so by the time you got to 95% you were doing 5 sets of 3 reps.

Its obviously a lot more then the SS. but thats why the workout is only suppose to last 6-9 weeks with a deload towards the end...

how strict do you have to be with your %'s?

because I was never that strict, I was always "close enough is good enough" maybe +/- 10% or so

oh yea me too. i was suppose to do 197lbs bench the other day. i did 200.

You only need to do % with the 3 mains. The accessories start out hard and heavy. But then you must lower the accessories towards the end to make up for the heavy mains. See-saw.

Just imagine it indica. 5x5. You know you want it. You want those 25 reps of deadlift at the end when your trying to do such heavy ass weight.

Hey its a quick program. Wouldnt hurt...

hmm
the first month of 5/3/1 was a bit weird, when I figured out my percentages, it was impossible for me to 'lift' a lot of the %'s because they involved fractions that couldn't be met with even the lightest plates... a lot of my lifts I was 'rounding up' 1-3kg (2.2-6lbs)

how much will that fuck with my shit in the long run?

Good point man. But the long run does not matter since the 5x5 is considered a workout to fail in the end. And its a short routine anyways. Long run does not matter.

Just try it out and see if it helped. Here is how you will know.

get your 1 rep max.

do 70-95% then deload the following week after the 95% then go for a PR max after that deload week.

If your max is higher then what you originally got. Then it is obvious you got stronger and the 5x5 worked!

Thats what? 8 weeks? the 70-95% is 6 weeks. + the deload week and + the last week which is going for a PR which is only an option. That is 8 weeks total. 6 weeks are lifting.

How accurate is your 1RM? unless you know 100% that's 100% of what you can do, rounding up or down 2 kilos isn't gonna hurt you. If you go up twice, go down the next one if you're really crazy about it. Tomorrow is workout 3 of the SS program, my legs still fucking kill.

Speaking of getting big did anyone else see the Olympia tonight?  Phil Heath won and rightfully so.  The mans a freak with some of the craziest genetics and responsiveness to juice that has ever been seen.

Damn.  Beastly.  Google image searched the guy, whoah.  There were some of him next to jay cutler... makes the guy look out of shape lol.
Side note... What do those guys use as far as steriods/prohormones.  I'm thinking they are tested at some point for juice but during the off season is it no holds barred?
I see huge guys that say the don't use anything and I laugh and think, yeah not right now... I mean the human body was not designed to be that size, how do they do it?
