awesome =)

if you have it saved as a flat JPEG, try overlaying it over another work of yours, preferably bright colored (tweak the brightness and contrast a bit if it's too dark) ...

I think you'll be happy with the results ... =)

It's in psd format as well, so I can do whatever with it. I could do as you mentioned and change around the opacity with a layer style that looks good, then do color adjustments.

I probably will sometime in the future, I always do that with my stuff when I'm boared. Sometimes I get some cool shit out of it while it looks totally different. I'm an experimenter, I tweek and tweek until i get something cool like this one.

Yea, it always turns up interesting results ...

another simple effect that can be interesting as a faded gradient layer is to take the original background image, duplicate it into a new layer, make a gradient overlay that is nothing more than the picture fading into nothing, then make the layer style Overlay ...

eh whatever works i guess ... I love photoshop only because I've never had an idea I couldn't get out with that program ...

The hard part with Photoshop is knowing WHEN to use a specific tool to gain the desired effect.

I like to think of Photoshop as the pencil of the digital art world.

Anyone can use a filter on some pitcure they scanned. That's not being artistic imo.
