Gorgeous pharmahuasca experience in hurricane!! * 1
    #14989912 - 08/28/11 05:53 AM (12 years, 5 months ago)

As Hurricane Irene ramped up to max in my locale, a solution of 50 drops of CaapiCopy and 10 drops THH was added to ~20cc's distilled water.  To this solution of MAOI, 115mg of DMT-fumarate was added, dissolved, and consumed.

First alert came less than 30 minutes later.  Subtle changes to the walls, television colors, and bedsheets became increasingly apparent.  Some mild nausea was experienced, nothing horrid.  No closed-eye visuals at that point.  The sounds of the storm and house were also becoming overlayed by the familiar crescendo-decrescendo weeee-ooooohh, weeee-ooooohh oscillations which (for me) herald a pharmacologically good dose.

As the appearance of the bedroom continued to become increasingly foreign looking, I closed my eyes, and to my very great relief, I was immediately treated to the sensation that I had not closed my eyes at all.  "Visible" to my mind was a seemingly infinite expanse of black space which I could "see" was incredibly deep in all three dimensions, like suddenly having been dropped off into deepest, darkest outer space...even though there was nothing there, I could perceive the DIMENSIONS.  A short moment later, fine, close-spaced colorful lines of unimaginable beauty began to define the "space" for my mind in patterns impossible to explain using only three spacial dimensions.  The colors were astonishing, and slowly changed in indescribable ways - like watching the visual attempts of a cuttlefish on the Science Channel trying to get out a message to its peers.

Aural hallucinations became more overwhelming and insistent as T + 1 hour was reached.  Along with the CEV imagery, the auditory experience waxed and waned in intensity - waves of severe alteration followed by a break, followed by another wave of deep departure from reality.  Oddly, this seemed to be position dependent.  If I rolled onto my right side, it increased.  Onto my stomach (I was in bed) increased even MORE.  Wow!!!

There was little to no mind-fuck.  All the beauty was behind closed eyes.  Open eye, the room and furnishings looked harsh, stark, ill-proportioned and threatening.  Moving about (to the bathroom) was difficult, but far from impossible.  I even had a brief telephone conversation with a family member regarding how the house and I were faring in the storm with NO difficulty.

The entire experience from first alert to falling asleep lasted five hours, but it was not all spent at a constant level.  The increase and decrease in trip intensity was one of the most curious aspects, and will have to be remembered.  It was easy to be fooled into thinking it was all over, when it wasn't.  Now that I think about it, it was a LOT like how the hurricane itself manifested.  Wave after wave of bands of rain and wind outside with periods of calm in between.  Wave after wave of multi-dimensional patterns of geometric patterns inside.  Indescribably beautiful.  Best trip EVER!!!

:awethumb: sounds like you had a good time... I liked how it seemed to compare to what was going on outside with hurricane Irene. Thanks for sharing!

Truly awesome report.

I have a theory as to why the trip was stronger on your stomach. On your back, looking up with eyes closed it would "feel" as though all your visuals are "out there" above you, whereas lying on your stomach it's almost like your entire visual field is below you, almost as if it is what is supporting you (or what you're falling into, depending how stable you felt:lol:)

One of these days DMT needs to show you what its really capable of.  You're missing the glorious stories, the secret whispers, the glimpses of Truth, the hints of your divinity.

On second thought, I sorta wish I had just had pretty colors, cool sounds, and a laser light show behind my eyes.  I barely even hallucinate with my eyes closed on ayahuasca.  Interesting, huh?  The tremendous range of effects this drug has on different people.

Yes, indeed.  Question for you, Joe.  W/R/T the "glorious stories, secret whispers and glimpses of Truth"...what kind of dosages are required, and how do they compare with the carefully measured and documented dosages I've been taking?

Is it your opinion that I get what I get experience-wise, and you get what you get, and there can never be any commonality???  How does "glorious stories, secret whispers and glimpses of Truth" actually manifest itself during a DMT experience, anyway???  It seems our respective descriptions are apples and oranges.  Is that just a difference in expression or use of language, or are our experiences that different in type and kind???

To tell the truth, I very much love my DMT experiences when they are predominantly visual.  Like a morphing color m.c. escher video of the mind, complete with sound-track!

I can reach breakthrough territory with 200mg of harmalas and as little as 80mg of freebase DMT.  I definitely have had a reverse tolerance effect.  80mg can take me where 135mg used to take me.  My trips are often like school.  An abstract thought forms and begins to get firm and takes shape.  Soon knowledge is being communicated to me and things are made clear.  Sometimes its a dialogue where some "voice" in my head is literally telling me information.  Other times its epiphany after epiphany that just slam me.  It can visual communication too.  No matter the method of delivery, its a schizophrenic paradise complete with conspiracies and enlightenment that all seem damn compelling in the moment.

Chances are it just takes the flotsam and jetsam floating around in my head and magnifies, inflates, and brings to it life.  Yeah, but its a mental trip with pretty purple pink sparkles.
