Yep. The only reason im sure about the one in the pic above is because it was found in literally the same place as the other one. It smelt terrible! I dont think i will be trying these anytime soon.

You are better off cloning a specimen or using the spores from the spore print immediately after you print it.
Once those spores dry they will no longer germinate.

MOAR PICS! Damn confusing Pluteus!! Hundreds of Pluteus lookalikes in the moor moss over here, gills (white young, pink older), caps match but the stems really, really vary which is making me think I'm getting confused with Inocybe or Cortinarius (there's one or two Cortinarius growing nearby that I can easily distinguish from the others). I picked up two that had deep blue stems but not the colour Cortinarius usually have but the stem butts were a clear white. I've got a few pictures that I need to upload and I should really get the spore print done!

they are confusing to me also! I could have sworn that there were pluteus salicinus but I didn't see one bit of bluing

The mycelium has the slightest tinge of blue to it, not sure how well it photographed.

I definitely see the bluing on the mycelium of the lower mushroom. Is that just a mycelial effect, or did you find yourself some ?

here is a few more pics of my last finds- showing how the bruising seems to be on the mycelium towards the bases

notice the skinny stem smaller fruit in the middle - i didn't rip out the whole base ( it was deep in a hole in the log ) and it still showed the slightest bruised blue spot
will go check here in a bit to see if more are showing their faces
